When I breifly lived in LA, I went to the original California Pizza Kitchen in Beverly Hills and it was wonderful...boutique pizza, fantastic salads and amazing pasta. What fun to have them build one at Northgate! My favorite is the Chinese Chicken Salad and my husband loves the pizza with roasted chicken and potatoes on it. I like that you can call in your order and then they will bring it out to the car for you at their curbside service. It is very dependable and my favorite place to eat when at Northgate. I don't like going there when it is very crowded, because it is too loud, but it is always dependable and always good. Try to Key Lime Pie. Yum! more

My husband and I go to California Pizza Kitchen (CPK) regularly. For the quality of food and the price, it's our favorite restaurant in the Seattle area. We usually get the pear and gorgonzola pizza, which also has blue cheese and hazelnuts and is served with lettuce greens with a small amount of blue cheese dressing on top. They don't say so on the menu, but you can get it on regular or honey wheat dough, which is perfect with this pizza. I know it sounds like an odd combination, but mmmmm, it's good together!! Since this isn't your average pepperoni pizza joint, they'll guarantee that you'll like your pizza or you can order something else. I've taken them up on the offer once, and they were happy to oblige. The spring roll and potsticker appetizers and iced tea is really good too. I've had their salads and while the presentation is very attractive, the taste has never quite met my expectations. Alcohol and desserts are a bit pricey here compared to the value of other menu items. The servers are very accommodating and friendly, and even though this is a very busy restaurant, you get great service! Also very kid friendly, sometimes too much so (screaming kids!!!). All in all, great food for a great price! One pizza will serve two average adults without making you feel stuffed, which adds to the value. more

California Pizza Kitchen, or CPK, is a yummy place to eat. The prices are fairly reasonable and since one pizza is big enough for at least two people- you can even more for your money. This is not your typical pizza place. Its gourmet pizza with toppings you would not come up with on your own. We had the BLT pizza and the spinach and artichoke dip as an appetizer and had tons leftover. The service was great- our waitress told us about many of the pizzas and answered our question. The only problem was that they didn’t have the appetizer we originally wanted because they had run out- but other than that it’s a great find for when you’re not in the mood for boring old pepperoni. more

Well, it seems everything from California finds one way or another to make it's way to Washington; except this time it's for the beneft of us Washingtonians! The California Pizza Kitchen is one of the better pizza places around. They serve pizza, salads, sandwiches, and soups. My girlfriend is fond of the BBQ chicken pizza, I too enjoy that. Though a little pricy, definately worth it if you're sick of the typical Pizza Hut style pizza. You've also probably seen pizzas from CPK in the frozen isle of the grocery store...obviously, these are going to be way different! more

This is by far the best sit down pizza place around. While it is a chain restaurant, the food does not taste like it! Not only do they serve pizza, but the sandwiches, salads, and other things on the menu are fantastic! I would recommend the BBQ chicken pizza or the Thai chicken pizza, for a twist on an American favorite. The only downfall is that this restaurant tends to be quite busy and you may have to wait awhile, but it is definitely worth the wait! more
