Typical Tex Mex 9/4/2007

I would categorize Cafe Del Rio as cliche Tex-Mex. Don't get me wrong, it isn't bad, it is just exactly what you would expect from a Tex Mex establishment from the chips and salsa down to the various flavors of taco and enchilada combination plates to the sopapillas and ice cream available as dessert. If that is what you are looking for you won't find it better in Lufkin. If you are looking for authentic Mexican food look elsewhere. Cafe Del Rio 8/1/2004

Cafe Del Rio is the best mexican food restaurant in town. They have good service, friendly staff, and always try to accomodate your needs. This restaurant has room for everyone with seats at the bar, large booths, and high chairs for the kids. Pros: Excellent Food Cons: , Waiting Area Small more
