We thought our fridge was done for. Sears wanted almost $300 just to come LOOK at it, so we called Bud Matthews. Terry showed up and had the problem figured out within a few minutes and also had the part we needed with him in the truck. The price? RIGHT- total was less than $200. Honest, quick and personable- we will be calling them again when anything in our house is beyond our capabilities! more

We had a couple of leaks appear under the house in the crawlspace; they were using gallons of water an hour. Called Bud Matthews service, two guys (I only remember Tyler who was lead contact) came out next day and in 40 minutes (including a quick trip to get correct repair materials) they were done. Fast, friendly and cost was appropriate. Highly recommend. Thanks, guys. more

Great service and prompt...couldn't of been happier. My fridge decided to die and of course the freezer and fridge was loaded with food. Bud Matthews came out within hours of my call. Within less than an hour, my fridge was revived and back in business. I would give them a call for anything in my home that was in need of service..was a nice experience, and it restored my faith in the service people who are honesty and in the knowhow!!!!! more

paul clark was prompt, courteous, honest, and professional. he repaired our washing machine by correctly diagnosing the problem within minutes of examining the problem. we had already paid another repair service over $300 to replace a timer that did not need replacing. todd's correct diagnosis and repair cost less than $75. a few weeks later paul returned and repaired our dishwasher and oven doors quickly and competently. my wife and i highly recommend bud matthews for appliance repair. more

I first called last year after a plumbing emergency left me with holes in drywall and ceiling, and other companies were not interested in a small job. Todd fixed the damage beautifully and invisibly. I gradually started calling for larger repairs: interior painting, new roof, dishwasher repair, and now bathroom remodel. They provide reasonable estimates and advance notice of changes, and did not take payment in advance. A dramatic contrast to my experience with another appliance service that required advance deposits and absonded! They are meticulous about leaving a clean work site at the end of each day. I will continue to call them first. more

Great Job! Paul came out to work on my Bosch dishwasher, and at first he thought I would need a new drain pump, as it wasn't working at all. But he was persistent, and after removing the pump from the dishwasher, he found a small piece of broken glass that had lodged in there. After removing that, and cleaning everything up, my dishwasher is humming along again! more

Fast and courteous 2/6/2012

We have had them do a couple jobs for us, most recently replacing a 18 year old furnace that quit during a cold spell. They were out the same day to diagnose, followed by a phone call with Bud to discuss options, then the next day they were out to start the install. We could have probably got the replacement slightly cheaper, but the service was so fast and seamless it really was very good. I would recommend Bud Matthews Service to friends/neighbors. more

Timely, Professional, Honest 1/22/2012

I called on a Saturday because I was stuck on plumbing in a bathtub faucet. Bud showed up in 20 minutes, told me I could handle it, coached me on solder and flux techniques, left me his torch, and told me to call him if I couldn't get it done. Bud didn't do any work for me so I can't comment on the quality of the work but he is a good plumbing coach, and as nice a guy as they come. Also he never charged me a dime. more

dryer and carpentry work 1/21/2012

Recently I used this company for a broken dryer and carpentry work (repair of rotted wood). The dryer part had to be ordered but Bud came back in 2 days and got it installed and working again. The carpentry work was done great. My experience was very good with this company. No hesitation giving 5 stars. more

Problem solved 1/5/2012

Punctual, friendly, and knowledgeable, Paul was able to fix my gas dryer quickly and diagnose the problem with my oven (coming back later with a part that had to be ordered). I had called and left a message just before the New Year's weekend, and didn't get a call back for about 3-4 days, I guess due to the holiday. That, plus the total cost seeming a bit pricey, is the only reason I didn't give 5 stars. more

I have relied on Bud Matthews over the years for a variety of repairs, emergencies, etc. They have always been prompt, professional, courteous and got the heat back on, water leak stopped, etc. in a timely fashion. My latest experience with Jason Holleman confirmed my opinion of this company and the people who work there. They are honest, trustworthy and get the job done. more

Bud responded quickly to my call for help with my heating problems. He and his service technicians were prompt, mannerly, helpful and ready to answer all questions. They have now replaced my HVAC and I could not recomment them more highly. The personnel was friendly and service excellent . more

Saved our weekend 12/6/2011

Bud came after hours on a recent Friday evening when we had out of town guests and found our furnace was dead. He found the problem, got the parts from the distributor and had our heat back on by the next evening. Very prompt and competent. more
