I'm very happy with my loan and the process goes smoothly as long as everything works according to plan. We had a few surprises and needed to contact our loan officer and could never get him on the phone and he didn't return phone calls. He did respond to emails. more

We went with Box Home Loans because the closing costs were so much lower than everywhere else. We saved several thousand dollars by using them, and their estimate was right on. I also really liked being able to upload my documents online. Communication was sometimes slow. The main problem was, in the rush to get us to close on time, there was some big confusion. AFTER we signed/closed, we were told we didn't qualify for the loan, causing much panic on our part. Ultimately it was worked out, but not without some major stress on closing day. Still, I would recommend them for the cost savings. more

Good communication, easy process, and great rate on my loan. The only downside is that the loan is sold to Bank of America. RESPONSE FROM Box Home Loans: Thanks for taking the time to positive review. While Bank of America is backing out of servicing, we do have a handful of loans this will end up being serviced by them. Maybe some day we'll tackle servicing and extend our great customer service beyond funding. Until then we're stuck selling to those currently servicing. Thanks again for the review. Aaron more

I have worked as a processor, LO, and as wholesale rep for large banks. I have been an LO for Box and know run our corporate discount and REALTOR programs. I left a very good job to be a part of Box simply because the owners truly care about our clients. This shows in our technology, price and customer service. We tell new hires "we offer a Walmart price with Nordstrom service. Take care of the client and they will take care of you." It feels good helping build a transparent company that always wants to do the right thing. We are not perfect and we encourage all our clients to shop around so do your homework and choose wisely. I was referred to Box Home Loans by a neighbor who sait she loved them. Setting a quote was fast and made it easy to shop around. I'm alway expecting to have little fees added at closing but they closed my loan with the exact fees listed on the initial quote. I espically liked doing everthing onile espically signing papers and uploading the stuff they asked for. more
