HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE 12/28/2011

Horrible experience! Wrong diagnosis. My dog suffered in pain because of a misdiagnosis of thyroid and gastro intestinal problem by Caroline Bowater. After repeated visits to this vet I took him to Ocean State Veterinary hospital where he had immediate surgery for foreign objects in his stomach and intestines. He had to have 6 inches of intestines removed and his stomach opened to remove another foreign object that he ingested. Ocean state vets were great and my pup has a new vet in South Kingstown that is excellent. August 16, 2011 more

Brilliant vet 12/5/2011

I began going to Dr. Bowater on the recommendation of an aquaintance. I have been to vets all over RI as well as the country and I believe that Dr. Bowater is one of the best. She is kind, knowledgable, sensible, and truly loves and enjoys animals. These qualities are reflected in her staff as well. more

FANTASTIC VET AND STAFF 2/9/2009

We have a 5.5 yr old lab that goes to Dr. Bowater, and 2 Cats. She and her staff are knowledgable, reasonable, and always take wonderful care of our animals. I would say she has the friendliest and most professional staff in South County!!! Pros: They love our animals like we do. more
