Do not believe a word they say! This mother and daughter are 100% CON -- we shopped this Rochester store for Prom dresses yesterday. We were treated horribly - they are COMPLETE snobs! I should've listened to my instincts and walked away but my daughter fell in love with a gown, they said its designer, no refund policy, wouldn't tell us the designer name/style. We purchased the gown for $479 -- got home, looked at tag in dress, googled only to find the exact dress for $270! I can't do anything at this point other than learn from my experience, and to warn you against these thieves! more

I had an incredible experience at this store. The store owner was friendly, helpful, and a very talented saleswoman. I got a gorgeous prom dress for a decent price, and I will definitely be giving Boutique Angelique my business again in the future. more

they treated my daughter horribly and wouldn't let her even try on a dress because they said she probably couldn't afford it. Then they told she probably couldn't afford anything in the store even with their $100 off sale. When I called to complain they were not even apologetic. DON'T SHOP HERE. My wife, daughter, and I walked into the store and we didn't receive any assistance from the owner. She barely acknowledged us, before she disappeared to the backroom. then, she came out and said 2 words to us and went to the backroom. I was completely shocked by the poor service and we walked out of the store. I went to a different store, and they said that they hear complaints from customers all of the time about Boutique Angelique. I was told, if you don't look like you have money, she ignores you. Not to mention, as a business owner, she parks her car right in front of the store, instead of leaving room for her customers. I recommend never visiting here! The lady we bought the dress from went into the back room after i gave her the style number of the dress i wanted her to order. She told us the dress was 470 dollars. We ordered it and put money down and when we came in the next 2 weeks to pick it up she ""forgot"" to charge us for shipping, and made us pay for that on the spot. Later, looking online the dress turned out to be $368 dollars online, not $470. Get your dress online or somewhere where you know they're not overcharging you like this place. Pros: None. This store will never get our business or anyone else's if I have anything to do with it. My daughter and her friend went to downtown Rochester to spend some money and help out the economy. They had many great places to go to and had many kind people help them out or just say thanks for stopping in. Not at Boutique Angelique. They were asked to leave because they were only looking that day, not buying anything...what a mistake. These girls will be shopping for dresses, they will be going to prom and many other events and they know A LOT of girls at all three Rochester area high schools. There were better ways of handling this and from these and other reviews, it is not uncommon. Good luck in this economy ladies...you messed with the wrong people. Boutique Angelique is a very nice store. i was just there looking for a prom dress. it said they closed at 5 but she let us in anyways and it was 5:30. she helped picked out dresses, even if they where to small she said try it on anyways we can always get them altered. that lady was not in a rush to get us out of the store either. i ended up getting my prom dress from that store. they have very beautiful dresses there. Boutique Angelique service is unbeliveably awful. The sales associates are rude and incomsiderate. When i went in to look for a specific dress, i found it after digging though their unorganized mess, pulled my size and the woman in the back, who works there said to me ""That's not going to fit you. You need to go bigger."" She was ver snotty about it.Their dresses may be pretty but way over priced espically in todays economy. I would reccomend going to the Boutique down the street called Flair, they have much prettier dresses, the sales associstes are dedicated to their customers and they are reasonably priced, i found the perfect prom dress there, with unbelievably nice service. Pros: None. Cons: Too many more
