3 Moves - All great! 5/14/2007

We've had 3 moves in the last year and used BQ Movers for all of them. Although our moves were small and local, each one went smoothly and at cost. The movers were easy to work with and were accomadating about everything. They arrived on time and moved quickly. Their pricing is very competitive. It does change by season but still remains competitive. I would highly recommend these guys. more

A moving NIGHTMARE!!! 5/3/2007

We hired BOSTON QUALITY MOVERS to move our 2 BR apartment furniture to S. Francisco from Massachusetts. Obviously, we weren't as careful and knowledgeable as we should've been when it came to choosing a moving company. Their initial quote for $2100 seemed the most economical among a few other company quotes. And they promised to deliver within 3 weeks.\r We packed everything ourselves carefully and sealed the boxes.\r They showed up in the morning an hour late. Three guys with an attitude and a look of a "SanQuentin prison inmate" loaded the furniture and the nightmare began!!!\r They inflated the price to $4600 and stated that we had more stuff than what they initially quoted for. Which was an 1100sqf 2Br apartment. And, let me tell you, we don't have many things. For instance we only had a futon in our livingroom. Nothing even close to one of those big livingroom sets. This is a very common way movers use to trick people into hiring them by giving low quotes.\r We couldn't argue with it more

Terrific moving experience 4/2/2007

Terrific moving experience 4/2/2007

"I wanted to send a note to your company to make you aware of the terrific moving experience we had yesterday. Yanni, Simon, and Jorge were our movng crew. From start to finish, they were friendly, professional, easygoing, and above all hardworking. Two thumbs up 2/13/2007

We used them twice in one month. Once to move furniture from SC to Wilmington and the other to move our home. Both times the movers where quick and efficient. They were hard workers who made sure you were happy with how they were doing things. The price quote was fair and accurate and the customer service was extremely helpful. We plan on recommending them to any of our friends who move within the next year. more

We used Boston Quality movers to pick up furniture in South Carolina and to move locally in the same month. The service was first class. Bryan worked with us to get a fair estimate and the follow through was awesome. The movers were professional and efficient. There was not a scratch on our furniture or to our house. If we ever had to move again we would definitely use them. Pros: on time, fair prices more

There comes a time when people have to move, and unfortunately I had to move twice in one month. Fortunately however, I stumbled upon Boston Quality Movers! I had always heard horror stories of moving companies, but was extremely surprised when both moves went as smooth as they did. In fact it could not have gone better! Boston Quality Movers hires people that when you meet them, you instantly feel comfortable having your belongings in their care. They are professional, respectable and caring both over the phone as well as in person. I had to move the date of one of my moves at a very short notice and they were very accommodating. Before, during and after the move they made sure to keep me informed about what they were doing at all times. As for the contract, there were especially informative about the paperwork so I was not shocked with any fees or unexplained details. Boston Quality Movers made my hectic experience stress free and enjoyable! more

Great customer service 10/27/2006

I had a GREAT experience with BQM just a few months ago! These two great guys helped me set up my move and everything went SO smoothly. They were curtious to me on the telephone and called a few days prior to the move to confirm everything. Now that is bonafide customer service! I only had contact with the gentlemen who helped book my move but they were wonderful. I had never heard of the company but they had good deals and thankfully my things arrived in one piece. I am not sure how management is but the employees must enjoy it there because they were quite knowledgeable and friendly. I would recommend BQM to anyone doing a short distance move. more
