I've been to Bluebird twice, the first time I was drawn in by a review I read online of the cupcakes. I stopped in and picked up a few, and the girl behind the counter was cold, rude and gave me attitude for no apparent reason. However the cupcakes are absolutely fantastic, better than the more well-known bakeries in Beverly Hills by far. This is the first time I have written a review for anything and i am a very easy to please person esp when it comes to food. I called in an order and spoke with Vincent. I asked if I could make my own wrap and he was unfriendly and asked what i wanted. To make it easier I said i would like the southwestern chicken wrap with no meat and no cheese and add rice(i am recently vegan and trying to make it work). What i received was a wrap filled with rice and a little of the black bean and corn relish (no avocado, lettuce or tomatoe) I was disappointed & decided to i emailed their website explaining my issue. (never done that before either) Vincent wrote me back and said he was sorry and he would like to try again and it would be on him. i thought that was great. so today, a week later, i called up. I spoke with vincent and said i'd like to try again. i said the same order... his response was ""Woah Woah this order is too hard for my kitchen, if you are going to be ordering these a lot there needs to be a veggie wrap."" I agreed. It would be nice if your menu had a veggie wrap. he says ""i'll make my own for you"" ok..... (i am hoping what he makes is better than what i asked for but really all i wanted was my order- a wrap filled with lettuce, tomato, avocado, black bean relish and brown rice) so i agree to have whatever wrap he thinks would be good. I open up my wrap and its filled with lettuce, tomato, hot peppers, green olives, cucumber & beats. side note : I am not a rabbit. I don't like empty promises of making things better when you chose to not listen to me. I'll never go back. Cons: awful service more

The food is fantastic, the atmosphere is cozy, and their cupcakes are to die for! Pros: The food, atmosphere, service Cons: can be crowded, and parking is bad more

I came here for lunch a few weeks ago and loved it so much that I have been scheduling all of my lunch meetings here ever since. The food is amazing (try the pressed sandwiches on olive bread and the veggie chili) the enclosed outdoor patio is beautiful, and the people, who may be a bit over run, are friendly. Perfect for sitting in the sun and enjoying good conversation or a good book. Pros: food Cons: may have to wait for a seat more

As a Culver City local, I was excited to try out this much hyped place. It might have great food, if we ever got any...I joined some friends there today, and the waitress couldn't seem to take down our orders, asking repeatedly what we wanted. I ordered the granola, yogurt & fruit salad. After she brought the coffee, we had to ask for cream--twice, and on the 3rd return, she came back to tell me there was no granola, so i changed it to plain fruit salad. Still no cream, so I got up and went to the counter to get it myself. When I got back, she came back and told me there was no fruit at all! How about telling me that the 1st time??! Then only ONE of our friends got his food served. The other 2 of us--NOTHING. And so we were over it. They didn't even take the items never served, off the check, and we had to haggle over it. Worst dining experience EVER!! And we didn't even dine!!! Cons: SERVICE more

I've been there twice. Staff didn't seem friendly at all but I thought I try it again. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and red velvet cupcake to go. I did not get a fork or any napkins. The sandwich was good and the red velvet cupcake was delicious!! Overall good food, service needs work. more

I can't stop thinking about my lunch at the BlueBird! Delicious salads, sandwiches, soups and cupcakes (yes, I eat all of it every time I go!) You have to go soon! more

The cupcake icing on the red velvet cupcake is the best ever! And the service is always friendly and prompt, a rarity for LA. I even got a free cupcake once! Their salads and sandwhiches are great as well. I highly recommend Bluebird. Pros: tasty, friendly, atmosphere more

Excellent food kind and respnsive staff and heavenly baked goods. This hidden gem in culver city is one of the best finds i have had so far. its homey and relaxing, but also a nice spot top have a bussines lunch. Worth the trip. more
