I contacted Blooma regarding a Western Hemlock that was in danger of falling. Martin was very pleasant to talk with about scheduling the removal, and he provided a very reasonable fee in advance. When the day arrived, he and his crew worked safely & efficiently, taking everything into consideration as they carefully brought the tree down in sections. I recommend them without hesitation. more

Of the three tree services that bid on removing a tree from our backyard, I liked Martin and his bid the best. We waited a year, but Martin honored his bid and he and his crew, true to their name, did an expert job. I can't remember how we found Blooma, but I'm glad we did. I had an old tree that was causing issues for us and no one would touch it. Martin was the only one that was willing to do the job. On the day of the job he showed up with a team of 5 or 6 guys and they knocked it out in under 3 hours without damage to anything else. The only thing I was surprised by is that they didn't give me any money back on the firewood they took away. Other then that I was happy with the service, would use them again, and would recommend to others. more

Martin came out promptly and gave us an estimate AND an education about trees. Long story short: do NOT go for so-called "Wind Sail Reduction" - trimming healthy branches throws off the trees natural structure and makes it more prone to wind damage. He did recommend that we trim dead branches and branches that are rubbing. His crew came out promptly on the scheduled day and did great work. I note they used throw lines and pulleys to scale the tree and not tree climbing spikes that damage the trunk. The invoice matched the estimate and all the branches were cleaned up. They are professionals who care about trees and customer service. more

We have a community swim club surrounded by a good sized arboretum (as I call it) Blooma has done everything from delicate dead tree removal to bucket truck pruning jobs-fast-fair-friendly (love talking to Martin) five star by any measure. The Blooma crew worked fast, and safely. They cleaned where they worked when they were done, so the yard looked better than when they arrived. And they didn't break anything! Not the tree peony really close to one worksite, not my porch or fence, nothing hit the neighbor's roof. One of the trees they removed was very close to my and my neighbor's house, it was a hard job but they got it done WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS! I can't recommend them highly enough. From the moment we met Martin, the Owner of Blooma, to the final moment when the crew being done with their great work, smilingly waved Good-Bye, we were so pleased and content with their total service, that it felt amazing and gratifying! It was a sad day to have arrived to the decision to cut our 100ft Diadora cedar, due to its leaning toward our neighbor's house and the propensity of the tall forks at the top to split and eventually fall. But knowing that we were in good hands, with thoughtful care and very skilled experience made this day so much more do-able and pleasantly handled. The team of five worked closely and carefully, communicating at every point...resulting in a very efficient, safe, and well-planned tree-cutting and removal project. They worked diligently, and consistently, and had all the right tools, for every aspect of the job. Martin's initial estimate of four hours to do the job was right on. They arrived promptly at 7:15 and they were totally and safely done, including a totally clean working environment, by 11:15 am. The entire crew was courteous, careful, and skilled at their function in the job. Time was not wasted, and neither was skill and a healthy respect for safety. We felt the cost was very fair, considering the skill levels, and the amount and variety of chain saws, and other tools and safety rigging they used. Blooma has been pruning our fruit and ornamental trees every year for the last several years. Our trees are healthy and shapely. Martin has always been very responsive, his crew works quickly and very tidily, and they have hauled extra yard waste and left wood chips on multiple occasions when I needed it. pruning our two MASSIVE laurel hedges. They were fast, tidy, and bid less than another local tree/yard company that we contacted. I loved seeing the big branches disappear into their chipper! I hired Blooma right off the internet with no information on them other than online reviews. They were amazing. They showed up on time, had the work done in a flash (and it was substantial - 2 very large trees removed and tons of serious pruning elsewhere). The workers were polite and knowledgeable and when I asked them to do a few (small) extra things for me that I noticed after the fact, they did them willingly and did not a charge me. And by the way, their price was more than fair. I couldn't believe that they cleaned up so well that when they left the yard looked exactly the same as it had looked when they arrived. Not a branch, not a leaf. I couldn't have been more pleased with their work. more
