great white pizza! 4/16/2007

I went to this location about two or three times during the time I've been living in Westwood. It's a good place to hang out and watch whatever game is on. They take reservations, which is nice for a busy place like Westwood. Their Great White pizza is my favorite one there, and they give free pazookies when it's someone's birthday. What I also remember distinctly about this place is that they always seem to have sticky tables- they need to wipe better. Pros: tasty pizzas, pazookies, reservations Cons: sticky tables, westwood parking more

BJs is a fun, loud, lively place packed with students. A young crowd always gathers to down beer and watch the game or sports highlights. It has a great atmosphere and is always warm and bustling. The food is just average and very heavy - the deep dish pizzas and avocado egg rolls end up just sitting in your stomach. I live in the area but don't go there often, seeing as how the food is nothing special and there is usually an incredibely long wait. Still, it's a fun and casual option in Westwood, and the Pizookie dessert really does live up to it's name - it's amazing. bj's has a great atmosphere--really lively with lots of good people watching. and the servers are amazing. theyre all students or in the industry--and they work hard. ive been here enough to see that sometimes one person will be working like 10 tables and a party of 15.\r \r i like the food--the salads (and pizzookies) are something i could eat everyday and not get tired of but itd add up here. its not that theyre expensive but bjs is the kinda place that you go to with all your buddies, after a movie or a game, for an org dinner. its not a ""ooh lets go out and try something new"" kinda place. but it has those kind of prices. the beer is good--i like the hef and red, very smooth. i also love the spinach and art pizza and the cobb salad. more

Close to UCLA campus, it's within walking distance from the dorms, so you get a lot of college kids waiting for a table on Friday nights. Go at an off hour like 5 or 9 to get seated a lot fasters. Pizzas are great, served Chicago style with a deep-dish crust. Don't leave without trying a pizzookie- a pizza inspired cookie. BJs is a great place to get some good food or to just hang out and try some different beers and drinks. The atmosphere is relaxed and is kind of a relaxed TGIFs. The prices are average and can depend on what kind of entre you get, from simple pastas to more complicated steaks. Be sure to try the pazookie for desert; which is a fresh hot large cookie with ice cream on top. more

BJ's is the best place to go to after work. I love the Buffalo Chicken Pizza. The pizzas are thick crust and very taste. Also try the Brusseta that very taste too. more

Loud 6/6/2004

I love the food and the location every time I come here, but there hasn't ever been a time when it wasn't loud. Whether it is lunch or dinner, weekday or weekend, there is always a crowd and you can hear them throughout the restaurant. So, needless to say, this isn't a great place to take the relatives when they are in town or someone on your first date. Pros: Good Food, Nice Upstairs Cons: , Crowded more

  • BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse, a part of BJ's Restaurants, is a chain of casual dining restaurants. Its parent company owns and operates more than 60 restaurants in California, Oregon, Colorado, Arizona, Texas, Florida, Ohio, Oklahoma and Nevada. The restaurant s menu features its signature deep-dish pizzas and handcrafted beers, as well as a selection of appetizers, entrees, pasta dishes, sandwiches, specialty salads and desserts. Its menu includes spinach and artichoke dips, sweet onion strings, chicken tenders, avocado egg rolls, blackened chicken sandwiches and angel hair pasta.
