Fast delivery, correct order, delicious food! I order from them all the time.

Worst

The creme brulee was great, but I should have lead with that. I got the hay pasta with chicken and the chicken was dry - the sauce was way to thick.

Great Food Great Service 11/15/2006

My husband and I have eaten at many restaurants over the years and Birraporettis is one of our favorites. We make a point to stop by when were going to the theatre ( some times we even get down there for Sunday Brunch). Yes you do need to get there in plenty of time of your show time to enjoy your dinner. Chances of other people going to the same show are good. So go early and enjoy yourself ! When we went our server was very well manared and informative we let her know we were headed to a show and she took care of everthing. They have a new wine list with some great selections. Our favorite was the La Crema Pinot Noir. For dinner we had the fried calamari and linguine and pesto sauce, my husband had theGrilled white fish special ( they have the best chesse garlic bread). For desert I defently recommend the tiramisu. more

the only place downtown you can walk in with a large group withour a reservartion 9/29/2006

I was surprised when a group of 12 friends were able to walk in without a reservation and still get served and make it to the theater. Ive heard complaints about their A/C not always operating at efficiency but there was no problem in August when we went. They were vary accomodating, the food was great and the service was excellent. We found the bellinis are delicious and the variety of pizza and entrees had something for everyone. We will be back! more

I was surprised when a group of 12 friends were able to walk in without a reservation and still get served and make it to the theater. Ive heard complaints about their A/C not always operating at efficiency but there was no problem in August when we went. They were vary accomodating, the food was great and the service was excellent. We found the bellinis are delicious and the variety of pizza and entrees had something for everyone. We will be back! more

Not worth it 5/25/2005

This location of Birraporetti's is known for serving the Theater District crowd. Because they can rely on this patronage, they do not need to worry so much about quality, service, or too high of prices. It is not a good Italian food restaurant. The only bread you get is the heavily buttered kind you pay for, parmesan cheese is offered from a Pizza Hut shaker, the food is bland, and when we were there the espresso machine was not working. Not to mention the service we received was quite poor. Go elsewhere even if you are in the area to see a show. If you do go, I would lower your expectations despite the prices and dressed up guests, order safe and select pizza or spaghetti. more

Okay, but not that great 4/25/2004

My 3rd visit, 2nd time for Sunday brunch. The buffet is okay, but not really special...... average quality. I think the big attraction is the ""bottomless"" booze. This is also the 2nd time I've been there and they have the Louisiana street front door open, making the place way too humid and hot for comfort. Oh, and one minor point, the waiter charged me twice on my credit card....which is why I will never go back. more

Great place to eat 4/6/2004

I have been there a few times and each time has been great. The servers are knowledgeable and know how to treat their customers. The management on the other hand is not so great. Don't be afraid to ask for recommendations especially if you're going to the theater because if you order anything that has to be grilled on a busy night, like any other restaurant you're going to be there for at least 25 minutes before you get some food. I don't believe the person wrote 2 hours and still can't get to the show on time. I think they just eat slow. Pros: Great food, Great service, Brian the server Cons: , Busy nights more

this place is okay but honestly be ready to be rushed out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! never can make it on time to a show even when i arrive 2 hours before a show!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! always happens!!!!!!!!!!!!! the delivery service is not much better, the drivers don't let you know that tip is added over a certain price!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! so you tip on top of a tip already added to your bill!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Overall you it is great food with one heck of a "bad" taste left in your mouth!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Great place for lunch! Very polite, attentive (yet non-disruptive) service, well-spaced tables, and A LOT for you money. My friends and co-workers and I go here all of the time. One of our favorites is the Chicken Alfredo Pizza which is indescriblely good. more
