I always dread going to the dentist, the medical office, the hospital or anything that requires "the expected long wait." BUT, I must say that Big Smile Dentist is that ONE place ...

While the staff is friendly and ""nice"" the policies they have are outrageous and predatory and their prices are ridiculously high. They pre-charge for work assuming all people ...

Great Dental Experience at Fair Prices. 6/18/2010

I found this dentist while searching on google and came in for an initial exam. \r \r They were extremely polite and very friendly. I have had not trouble getting good appointment times and their services were very professional and of a high quality. Before scheduling any major treatment, I was consulted and fully informed of any fees and charges.\r \r Since my initial new patient exam, i've had quite a bit of treatment (including my initial emergency treatement) and have had no issues or complaints at all.\r \r great dentists! friendly staff! Pros: very friendly and polite staff and atmosphere Cons: Chase Healthcare credit line (hard to get approval)... more

Brite Smile 6/17/2010

The service here is great but overall I was disappionted in the results of Brite Smile. Now I have to do trays in order to get my teeth at the color I want. more

Big Smile Dental Really is the Best 6/17/2010

Big Smile Dental is, hands down, the best dentists office I have been to in a very long time. The entire staff is really friendly and has extensive knowledge about teeth and gums. I walk out of the office with an understanding of what's going on in my mouth, rather than confusion and anatomical words I don't necessarily understand. They are affordable and will work with you to decide what the best treatment plan is. I don't feel like just a patient at Big Smile, I feel like a real person. Best Dentist in Chicago 6/14/2010

I have been going to Big Smile Dental along with my family for years. This is definitely the best dentist that any of us have ever been to. Dr. Siegel is caring, funny, and gentle. His work is excellent. I never feel the shots or anything while he is working. I still have old fillings in my mouth that Dr. Siegel did over twenty years ago.The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable. Jen the person who cleans our teeth is nothing short of amazing. If you’re looking for a great dentist who is down to earth, look no further this is the place. The only draw back is I have to drive far to get there. But it is worth it. Pros: Great customer service. Very Caring Cons: Long drive more

DO NOT GO HERE 6/11/2010

DO NOT GO TO BIG SMILE (2833 Milwaukee Ave). What should have been a 1 hour procedure took over 2. The woman who did the procedure wasn't even a dentist. My lip was burning, I told her, she ""fixed"" it, and now it looks like a balloon. They had to bring in 2 ""real"" dentists --one being Dr. Siegel, and the first thing he said to me was, ""Many women would PAY for those lips."" NOT WHAT I WANT TO HEAR AFTER MY FACE LOOKS LIKE A CIRCUS FREAK. I went home sobbing, and then my teeth felt like they were being cracked open and electrocuted. The pain was is so severe that I start screaming when it happens. I've never felt anything like this before, and you can't do anything. They claim no permanent damage is done, I'll just look like this for 4 days. But they suggest I consult my physician. Not promising. Cons: pain, unprofessional, insensitive more

I had avoided the dentist for many years. When I went to Big Smile Dental they were very courteous and the assistant, Jackie never lectured me. instead she made me feel comfortable. Pros: Friendly, understanding, caring more
