We started to eat here when it first opened up 12 years ago. The food was simply amazing. Sadly they have been going down since. They were good about 2 years ago but now it is awful. I use to love their veggie panini it was so tasty and huge portion of fresh mozzarella. The veggie platter was also great. But they are no longer tasty. The veggies are tasteless and not well cooked. The mozzarella was very small. And the service has not improved either. One time we went for lunch meeting with my in laws. We arrived a few minutes before they did and they refused to seat us until the all arrived. I would understand that if they wers busy and did not want to hold up a table for 6, but they place was half empty....Save your money and go elswhere this place is overpriced and mediocre. more

We've been to Big Bear a dozen or so times and have never been disappointed. Huge menu and something for everyone. I love the onion soup (topped with melted cheese and crispy rings on top of that) and the Rattlesnake salad. My wife thinks the grilled chicken sandwich is big enough for two meals. Roast beef au jus, turkey meat loaf, pizza you name it they have it, and it's good eats! more

My boyfriend occasionally drags me here yet I have to say I look forward to going. Not much of a beer drinker but the beer is good and so are the prices. Alot of fun. more

Great place. The beer is the star of the show here along with the regulars at the bar. The Brewer steak is very flavorful and one of the best steak choices in springs. Best value is the lunch club, you have five lunches they stamp your card and the six lunch is free. Kelli at the bar is very attentive and has a wonderful personality. Paula works the tables in the bar area and she is awesome too. Service may not be the quickest, but worth your wait. Go ask Kelli for the " Dragons Breath Beer" my code word for the seasonal fruit beer. After a few sips on a hot day all you need to do is sit back and enjoy:) Remember to tell them Dan sent you and stay hungry. more

Big bear is a great restuarant with great food (I reccomend the eggplant pizza) and great desserts. My only complaint is, no matter how busy or slow the place is, the service is not that great. You have to bassically HOPE your waiter comes by. more

I nor my wife have ever been disappointed on the quality of food or service. The New York Strip w/chipotle butter is very tasty and I would like to suggest to ask for either Stephanie or Kyle... their customer service practices are top notch. The sweet potato fries are like the Bloomin Onion was about 10 years ago.. a common vegetable prepared in an un common way which provides a unique taste. \r I have read some other reviews that are less enthusiastic than mine to which I say ""if you don't want to eat there then don't"" but there is no denying the quality of food or service. Quite truthfully, this is the most consistently very good food and service establishment I have ever dined at. Some places are good in either area some of the time; Big Bear is very good all of the time!! Pros: Everything Cons: Nothing more

Seven of us met to have lunch at the Coral Springs Restuarant. We were greeted promptly. Then everything went downhill from there. It took forever to get someone to take our drink order. Then it seemed like forever to get our order taken. It took 45 minutes for the first of 3 plates to arrive to the table. By the time the remaining 4 arrived, the first 3 had nearly finished eating. There was no explanation. The resturant wasn't even busy. We wern't offered dessert. Now, it was my first time there, but everyone else had been there before. I was so excited to be going here and imagine my disappointment when their service was the worst I have ever had in a very long time. We will not be going back there anytime soon!!! more

Bad Service Food And Beer... Forget the Calamari... 6/27/2006

We went here after meeting the owner the night before, he told us he the best Calamari in town, guess what if you like oil and crust with no Calamari on a bed of french fries, you will love this.\r \r The service was slow and they messed up most of our orders.\r \r The beer was also real poor, we had just about every beer they made in house.\r \r I can not even believe they call this a brew pub, not even close. \r \r \r \r Pros: none everything was bad, food, beer and service more

Good food, good service 6/25/2003

The beer cheese soup is great. The beer sampler is only 5 bucks for 45 ounces of assorted beers. My waitress Katie was HOTTTTTT!!!!!!! The restaurant decor was very comfortable and inviting. Overall, a good experience Pros: Good food, Inexpensive, Good beer more

Hands down - the best 7/26/2002

The menu says fall off the bones ribs and they mean it. The ribs are amazing. The garlic smashed potatoes are incredible and the pork chops are to die for. Great food, great service, good prices. Everytime I make a trip home I put this place on my agenda. 2000 miles for food - it has to be good, right? Pros: Delicious Food, Cozy atmosphere Cons: Parking is fair more
