www.biritemarket.com/ I love this grocery market. Although i don't live in the area, i make my trip to there every couple weeks. It's quite small, but has fresh produces, meat, wines and cooked food. They are reasonably priced. did i mention they have good selection of chocolates and sorbet..hmm, yummy! more

Gourmet mini-mart 3/17/2006

Bi-Rite is the perfect little independent supermarket with a great location. They stock organic fruits and veggies and have a nice selection of wines and cheeses. They have lots of gourmet products that might be hard to find elsewhere. They're generous with the samples too! There's also a huge deli section and some hearty sandwiches that are made on the spot. Perfect for a to-go order and hanging out at Dolores Park across the street. more
