Beverly Hills Rent A Car

Don't do business with these guys. Had a Rental Certificate for a one day rental of a Lotus Elise. Went in before the expiration date to rent the car. Went to both locations, LAX and Beverly Hills. Told me they didn't have the car and then both Israel and Kevin, the two mangers, told me they would call me back but lied to me. My certificate clearly states that I would get Red Carpet Service. Went there four different times and called them three times. No one ever got back with me or called me back. They said that they would. It's been over two weeks now. Rent from Hertz at the airport or Budget across the street in BH. Budget is actually very nice. I love LA, but customer service like this give's LA a bad name. We initially rented a Mercedes C300 from them from Tuesday to Sunday. The first car they prepared for us smelled very badly of smoke. It was so bad we refused to leave the lot in the car. They agreed to bring another car of the same make and model to our home later that evening. In fact, we didn't get the car until 8pm Tuesday evening. Unfortunately when we got into that car the next day we had the same problem - it smelled of cigarette smoke. By that time, however, we needed to use the car for business meetings all day. The smell was so bad we returned the car three days early. We will never rent from them again. Pros: Many cars to choose from Cons: Cars smelled of cigarette smoke, not helpful more
