Easy check in and check out. Very courteous staff. Room appeared to have been recently updated. Breakfast was superb with a wide variety of breakfast items including fresh (not powdered) scrambled eggs. Large dining area and an employee just for taking care of the breakfast area. more

Absolutely no complaints. Checked in for 4 days, 3 nights and requested a drive-up 1st FL unit. Room was clean and property well maintained. Great continental breakfast with all the staples you would expect (waffles, cereal, donuts, bages, etc.), but also had scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon and fresh fruit!! Definitely a cut above your regular hotel breakfast offerings. Location close to several good restaurants and just off the 66, so quick access for coming/going. Even so, property quiet as it sits off Chain Bridge Road and a bit removed from the freeway. more

I've stayed in over a dozen different BW hotels and this was the best! The breakfast and breakfast room were restaurant quality...literally. Hotel staff is outstanding - very helpful and friendly. more

The Best Western in Fairfax Virginia is clean, comfortable and Friendly. The cost per stay with the amenties received is excellent. The decor is modest by well maintained and comfortable. While taking my son for college visits, we decided to see Washington DC. The Fairfax Best Western was a great resting place before heading into DC. The free hot breakfast buffet was wonderful. All the employees were friendly and helpful. more

It was a quick stay. It is a hotel for truck drivers, They have a nice pool, but too close to the rooms, it can be noisy. Breakfast is very nice, all fresh! more

The room was clean, and roomy. It fit 4 people- two adulte, two teens. The rate was good. $304 for two night. The hotel has a nice pool, a modest fitness room and a big plus, a buffet breakfast that is included in the room rates. It is located about 12 miles from the national zoo and the rest of the attractions in Washington DC more

Have stayed here on many occasions on business. Rooms are nice, beds are comfortable. Front desk is exceptionally helpful - ask for Sandra or Julia and you won't be disappointed about check-in process. The included breakfast is very nice and a step up from many other hotels I have stayed at. more

My son (8 years old) and I stayed at this hotel for 4 days last week on a sightseeing trip to DC. The room itself was entirely adequate and I can't think of anything significant that fell short of my expectations, in fact, some things exceeded my expectations. The bed was very comfortable and there is a fairly large refrigerator and microwave. There is a Safeway just down Chain Bridge Road (I used to live in Fairfax so I may be presupposing a familiarity with the area, Fairfax is kind of confusing for the first time visitor) so you could pretty much get groceries and have your meals in the room if you want. The breakfast was very good, scrambled eggs with bacon and sausage as well as grits and biscuits with gravy, a waffle maker also. The pool was very nice and had a lifeguard, which may not be strictly required by law but is an excellent idea. more

BW Fairfax was more than adequate for our needs. Our main purpose was to visit DC easily by Metro and stay in comfortable, moderately priced lodging. This place fit the criteria adequately. more
