My son (8 years old) and I stayed at this hotel for 4 days last week on a sightseeing trip to DC. The room itself was entirely adequate and I can't think of anything significant that fell short of my expectations, in fact, some things exceeded my expectations. The bed was very comfortable and there is a fairly large refrigerator and microwave. There is a Safeway just down Chain Bridge Road (I used to live in Fairfax so I may be presupposing a familiarity with the area, Fairfax is kind of confusing for the first time visitor) so you could pretty much get groceries and have your meals in the room if you want. The breakfast was very good, scrambled eggs with bacon and sausage as well as grits and biscuits with gravy, a waffle maker also. The pool was very nice and had a lifeguard, which may not be strictly required by law but is an excellent idea.
