Completely unprofessional. 50.00 diagnostics fee and the serviceman left my home and THEN called back to say maybe it was this or that. (we did not want to make expensive repairs). We have no way of knowing what is wrong with the machine. Was he late for his next appointment and didn't want to do a small repair? We will never know.\r Please do not trust them. Andre (service manager?) was rude and condescending. \r Check out the yelp page for this business and you will see they are not above board. more

My Bosch refrigerator was too warm, so I called Best Service Appliance Repair . They sent over two technicians who told me that the drain was clogged and that prevented the fridge from being cool enough. They managed to clean it out that same day and now my fridge works well again. This guys were really easy to work with. The dispatcher over the phone was really helpful in giving me information about how the repair would work. I was pleased with the level of service I received from this company. more

I used Best Service Appliance Repair about a year ago to fix my amana refrigerator. My fridge was too warm and I was concerned that my food would spoil so I had contacted them. They couldn?t fix the fridge the same day because they needed to order parts but they managed to make a temporary fix for the week so I wouldn?t be stuck without a fridge. They were really easy to work with and the quality of their repair is great since my fridge is still running perfectly. I remember that they were very customer oriented and tried to be flexible with my schedule. Also, the mechanic was really personable and just generally a good guy. Basically, they were wonderful and I would use them again. more

I called BEST SERVICE APPLIANCE REPAIR when the ice maker on my Amana refrigerator stopped working. They sent over their technician, Gary, who is a really nice guy. He clearly had a lot of experience with repairs. He took a look at the machine and told me that I needed to replace the thermostat. He said the thermostat isn?t a common part to replace for the Amana fridges so he would have to order the part for me. It took a little over a week but he came back again and replaced the thermostat and now my icemaker is working perfectly again. Gary was great to work with and I wouldn?t hesitate to call him again if I have issues with any of my other appliances. more

Great service 12/22/2011

I had a good experience with BEST SERVICE APPLIANCE REPAIR. I called them when my kitchenaid dishwasher started leaking whenever I would run the entire load. They gave me their morning appointment (though morning means 10-1 so that?s not entirely accurate). Anyway, the mechanic came over and took apart the machine. He let me know that my drain hose needed to be replaced and said that he had one with him in his van. My dishwasher works great again now. The mechanic was really polite and quick and efficient with the repair. I would definitely recommend this company to others. more

Not good. We ended up using Sears. 11/30/2011

The technician came the same day, but was not able to reproduce the issue. He charged $49 and told us to call back. We called back next day. The technician told us over the phone, that he researched the error code (diagnostic it wrong) and the repair will cost us between $350 and $500. I called Sears. They fixed the issue and gave me a One Year warranty for the entire washer for $350. more

Thanks a lot for incredible service 5/26/2011

I called Best Service Appliance Repair NY when my whirlpool dishwasher stopped working. I had a really good experience with them. They managed to schedule an appointment at a time which was convenient for me (I have a really hectic schedule). The repairman was also very quick and efficient. He told me I would have to replace the pump. He ordered the necessary part and came back and installed it that same week. Everything was quick and painless, I would recommend this company for anyone that needs an appliance repair. more

Professionals! 5/2/2011

My whirlpool dryer stopped spinning a few weekends ago. I have a young child and constantly need to do the laundry because she keeps on getting herself dirty. I called BEST SERVICE APPLIANCE REPAIR and they came over on the weekend for no additional charge. I could only do an early morning appointment, and they managed to accommodate me. Very good repair service. more

Really the BEST appliance repair company 2/18/2011

I have four kids and for some reason they love playing in the basement right by my washing machine. After slamming the lid hundreds of times on my Maytag washing machine, something happened and my machine wouldn?t start the cycle. So I called Best Service Appliance Repair and the repair guy Gary came over and explained to me that the lid switch snapped. He replaced for me and now my machine works great again. I would definitely use this company again! more

Amazing service! 1/14/2011

The ice maker in my GE profile fridge stopped working. I live in Williamsburg and called Best Service Appliance Repair. They gave me an appointment the day I called. The repairman came over, ordered me the parts I needed and everything was in working order in a few days. This company was quick and efficient and I really appreciate it. more

**STAY AWAY** RIP OFF --- NO EXPERIENCE** 1/13/2011

**AVOID AT ALL COST** My LG washing machine stopped working with ""tE"" code. I called them and they said they support LG and can fix it. When the tech ""Max"" got here, he had no idea and could not fix it and he said this is all computerized. I mentioned to him that LG states the ""tE"" code means there is an issue with the heating element and then said he needs to order the part. I had to pay $70 just for them to stop by, and he quoted me $120 labor to fix and said they will call me a couple of days later about the part. I did not hear from them after a couple of days and kept trying to call the next 4 days to get an update. After the 5th day someone gave me an update and then said it will cost $260 to fix. Now I don't know what to do...its half the cost of my washer and I'm not even sure if they can fix it. WHAT A RIP OFF! STAY AWAY.. they have NO CLUE! more

Very friendly and knowledgeable technicians, fast service on a problem with my Frigidaire dishwasher! And it did not cost me as much, as I feared. And they granted my Senior Citizen discount. I'll keep Best Service in mind for my next appliance repair needs. more

Worst Service Appliance Repair 12/9/2010

When my refrigerator stopped working I called this company based on the reviews. What a mistake! My wife was told by the service man that it needed a new motor and the freon was low and that if he fixed it it wouldn't be guaranteed so buy a new one from us. When I told a friend from work about this he laughed and gave me a $20 switch to replace. I Changed the switch and the refrigerator went on and stayed on. Unfortunately it was warm. There was no freon left. I am convinced the service man caused this. Also there were screws left loose and missing inside the freezer. I feel compelled to warn people about this operation. more

I have a rental property in Park Slope, Brooklyn and called Best Service Appliance Repair from New Jersey for Maytag dryer repair in my tenants apartment.These guys were very honest, efficient, and informative. They called me to give details on what needed to be done, the estimated cost and the time frame for an actual repair. My tenants felt comfortable having these guys in their home. The price was very reasonable. I was very impressed. more

Really BEST service 10/29/2010

These guys really made my day! I live in Williamsburg. I called Best Service (their base is in Sheepshead Bay) for an appointment to fix my Frigidaire washing machine. The guys showed up literally within 30 min of my call! They repaired my washer within an hour and the price was about 40% less than other local services quoted me. I could not be more pleased and would recommend this service to anyone. This is best Brooklyn washer repair service I know! more

Great range repair service! 10/13/2010

I knew exactly what was wrong with my Tappan range and what part should be replaced. I called few local companies and asked for estimate. Best Service Appliance Repair was the only company I've got the estimate from. All other places refused to give me an estimate for some reason. I made an appointment with Best Service. The technician replaced the part. My range works as well as new now. more

Rip off 9/15/2010

These people charge to make an estimate. $49 to be exact. The guy came, estimated I needed a new washer and handed me the bill. They tell you on the phone that the charge will apply to their fee but they don't tell you that they'll charge even if there's no work to be done. 1 minute = $49. Throw your money away on something more fun. more

Washer repair Brooklyn 9/2/2010

You can tell, these people are taking a pleasure in making their customers happy! When I called Best Service in regards to my broken Whirlpool washing machine, I was not sure if I want to have it repaired or just to buy a new one. My washer is 9 years old and quite honestly, I was scared of the possible repair cost. But I've got a wonderful man on the phone, who spent time with me to hear me out. He sent a workman to my place same day and assured me that the price would be quoted prior to repair. The workman checked my washer up and came up to the conclusion that the problem was really a minor one. He fixed it right away. The price was just a fraction from what I had expected. Many thanks to both great guys from a very satisfied customer! more

Highly recommended appliance repair in Brooklyn 8/26/2010

I am a landlord. Every time an appliance stops working in my apartment building I call Best Service Appliance Repair. I have never been disappointed with their service. These guys are always on time, no excuses or delays; always thoroughly prepared and able to finish the job on the spot. I am happy with their price list as well. They are not the cheapest on the market. But I've learned my lesson with some other local repair shops that the cheap price hardly guarantees you quality of work. Best Service Appliance Repair is a good combination you would look for: high quality of performance and very reasonable prices. I can recommend their services to everyone. more
