they did three jobs for us and two had problems. in one, a pipe separated at night and began flooding my basement. in another, they put in the wrong type of well pipe according ...

Thanks to Ed our plumbing problem was fixed in a timely fashon with no hassle or mess. He was very courteous and pleasant to speak to. When finished he asked if there was anything else he could do before departing with a handshake. Good employees are hard to find..........you have one in Ed. more

From the initial phone call to paying the bill, my experience with BFP was exceptional! Friendly, courteous, and informative staff helped me rectify my hot water heater problem. Ed W. was prompt for the appointment and gave me all of the information I needed to make an intelligent decision without pressure. He needed additional materials and another truck arrived shortly after a phone call was made with the unusually sized product. I would recommend this company and plumber to friends and family. more

Ed was great. He was very concerned with solving our problem. 11/26/2012

We have used Ben Franklin in the past and have always been very satisfied. Our recent problem was a clogged main drain. Ed tackled the problem with confidence and determined that we had a clogged trap under ground. He cleared the trap and everything is fine. What also impressed me was that Jim, Ed's supervisor, was in the area and stopped by to see how Ed was doing. I would recommend this company without hesitation. By the way, this was done at 8:00 PM. more

Great service! 11/15/2012

Ed not only completed the two items we had scheduled, but also detected and repaired a previously unknown gas leak at a valve near our house heater. We are very pleased with all his work and grateful that he could take care of the gas leak as well. Thank you Ed!! more

they did a great job on the leak 11/6/2012

I didnt have a plumber and i went online and call ben franklin plumbing, i had a leaked in the basement and how to call the water co to shut off water. when i called ben franklin they came right away randy did a great job and explianed everything to my husband. he showed him what was broke and say he would fix right away and he did thank you so much without ben franklin we wouldnt have had any water. thank you again more

Truely the only area company that does same day emergency service. Ed came out very quickly (within hours) and provided excellent recommendations and service. Job completely done to my satisfaction. 11/1/2012

I had a sump fail during the night and the basement was flooded with 3 inches of water. Called a few places (Horizon, Carney), that advertised 24 hr emergency service. The soonest others could commit to coming out and even evaluating the situation was 1-2 days. With more rain on the way, 1-2 days was not an option. Only ones that actually lived up to their claims was Benjamin Franklin Plumbing. This was the first time I used them and can say I was very happy. Ed was on time, called 5 minutes before arriving to confirm, and took his time with assessing the situation, providing value-added recommendations and did the work quickly and to my satisfaction. He even went above and beyond given the complexities of the current water systems in the house. Ed didn't sell me something I didn't need and even showed me where I could save some money. Very, very, happy with Ed and Ben Franklin Plumbing. Will call them back for all my future needs. more
