I went to Angela for Botox with a coupon. I needed to go back for more (more $) as the first time was not enough. As I have been getting Botox in the same place for at least 10 years, I know how much and what to expect. This was NOT it. I decided to try a microderm and chem peel treatment a couple months later. Angela was so rude to her new front desk person that I was uncomfortable. I will not go back. There are far too many places around that offer the same services in a better atmosphere and with better results. Do NOT recommend! more

I have been going to Begin With Your Skin Medspa for 3 years now. I have received Laser Hair removal, Laser Genesis, and IPL, and have loved the results from each service, my skin looks better each visit! I can go a week without shaving, and my beach vacations are amazing not having to worry about shaving every day! Angela and the staff are amazing, they do a great job of educating you on the services you receive. I've also had spray tans done here, the best I have EVER had, they look very natural! The Medspa is a clean, quiet environment, and I feel relaxed every time I come in! I refer all of my friends and family to Begin With Your Skin Medspa!! Thank you Angela for the amazing service! more

The best Medspa in the Twin Cities!! Honest staff .They really CARE about you and your results. Very professional and knowledgable. I've had injections, laser hair removal, skin laser treatments, and peels. I have been extremely satisfied with my results! They also do a wonderful job at educating their clients on all of the services they offer, right down to skin care lines and makeup. I will refer all of my family and friends to this Medspa. Totally worth the drive from Blaine to Eagan! Before beginning my treatments, I would shave and have re-growth within hours. I hated wearing shorts or swimsuits. Now, after 6 treatments, I can go days without shaving and the hair that does grow is sparse and fine. I cannot wait to purchase more treatments! Futhermore, I loved my ""girl-time"" with Angela. Each treatment was like a therapy session, getting to talk with Angela. She is hilarious and very uplifting! My visits here were everything you'd hope a spa visit could be! more

Angela and the rest of the staff with Begin with your Skin Medspa have been great! I purchase one laser package, and quickly purchased two more. Angela has been great with consulting me on some of my skin concerns, and they have a new amazing spray tan booth. I rarely have to wait longer than a few moments for my appointments. It feels like you are visiting a friend rather than a stuffy clinical setting. The office also has a philanthropical side, and donated to a local school auction when approached. I will always support local businesses who support their community. more

I have been using Angela at Begin with your Skin Medspa for nearly 6 years now, going in about 4 times a year for laser hair removal for my back, shoulders and upper arms. My back in fully covered....so its a job, and can be painful, but she takes the steps to make it as comfortable as possible, icing my back in stages, before going over it with the laser. Always pleasant experience, and great results. Also tried a laser face tightening procedure about two years ago, for which I was pleased with the results. Looking forward for my next upcoming appointment using her new laser technology. I have always found Angela to be pleasant and willing to answer any questions I have had about any potential treatment. Based on my experiences for laser treatments, I would recommend Begin with your skin Medspa. more

She has customized my services and has also corrected anything that needed to be corrected.The facility is clean and beautiful with a wonderful staff. Run Away! I should have trusted my instinct. I went here for botox injections and I had a bad feeling because Angela was somewhat rude, stand offish and impatient. I figured she was having a bad day. I asked if she was licensed and she said she was and had been doing injections for 12 years. She also accused me on not trusting her. My instinct said walk at that remark. I am embarrassed I did not. Again, she said she was licensed. The next day I called and I found out that the clinic is actually the entitiy that is licensed under a Dr. Scott Jenkins. He was not on site. Angela was the only person present and was the receptionist and the injectionist. The disturbing part is I had to press Angela for her to tell me that she meant the clinic was licensed and not her. Before you consider doing anything like this I urge you to google Dr. Oz about botox, watch the video and ask the 3 questions he brings up. This place does not pass! Injections are serious and I wish I had trusted my instinct when I met Angela. She was rude and condescending. I now know it was because I asked questions that she did not want ot answer honestly. She could have told me the truth. Make sure the person injecting you is a doctor, or nurse and don't let them tell you they are licensed under the guise the clininc is. I have a tremendous headache that I got very shortly after the injection that is 100 times worse today. That is why I did the research. I called Angela and she said it was not from the injection and she flippantly asked if I had taken Advil. Duh, of course, I am in pain! I never get headaches! Angela was not concerned at all. I just hope this wears off with no long term side effects. I learned an expensive lesson. I hope you don't. more

My overall experience with Begin With Your Skin Med Spa has been very disappointing for several reasons: I feel like everytime I come in there's a new staff person doing my laser treatments, I like to see the same person every time especially if I started with them. 90% of the time my appointments for laser treatments have been cancelled and resheduled because the lasers are never in opperable condition. Angela ""the owner"" on an esthetic level dresses in a manner that should not be worn in a med spa setting. Would you as a woman want to get an injectable treatment with a pair of low cut breasts smacking your face? Of course not! When Angela speaks to you it's very demeaning and snappy, ultimately she will be the demise of her business.. more

I have gone here a few times for Botox treatments in the past and have had a decent experience but today was completely different and I will never go back after the way I was treated by Angela. I made an appt for a touch-up, as I was told I should if it appears i need more added after 2 weeks. She was extremely rude to me and acting like I just wanted free botox and said she would not ""give"" me any more. I told her I didn't expect it for free but that I want it to look right. She said how I was there 2 weeks ago for a retouch, which I was, but it still wasn't fixed. She angrily said how it looks better and she would not do more. So, now I am stuck with goofy looking lines/wrinkles above both eyebrows and nowhere else on my forehead. After reading the other reviews below, I'm now starting to wonder if she treated me that way because I was originally a Groupon client (although I have paid for two treatments since then). If you don't want people to use Groupons, then don't sell them!! Extremely rude and unprofessional. Will never recommend them to anyone. I have NEVER been treated like that by someone - it was so awkard and uncomfortable. more

I purchased a Groupon so that is how I heard about this them. I had the microdermabrasion treatment done. It was very relaxing and made my face feel wonderful after! I had a good experience and they offered for me to purchase more at the same groupon deal. I purchased more and plan to go back. Thanks for having a good deal! Staff was nice and friendly! more

I have been a client of Begin With Your Skin since Angela started it 4 1/2 years ago. I have nothing but superlative things to say about her, her work and the excellent results I've experienced. The improvement in the tightness and complexion of my facial skin is remarkable. I followed Angela's suggests for treatment and I couldn't be more pleased. I am being very honest when I say that people mistaken me for being 10 years younger than I really am and I attribute that to the condition of my face; plain and simple. I'm thrilled!!!! more

Extremely Poor Service 3/6/2012

I was excited for my facial appointment even though I had read some bad reviews. The lobby of the spa was nice and inviting. The treatment room looked a bit dirty. My ""facial"" only took 11 minutes. I was in and out that fast! I would never go back and advise others to go anywhere but here. more

I WOULD BE EMBARRASED TO RECOMMEND TO A FRIEND!!! 3/1/2012

I bought a Groupon for one Botox treatment. I had difficulty contacting them to set up an appointment because of their strange work hours. When I arrived for my appointment, I was immediately uncomfortable. I found Angela to be in a hurry, very un-friendly, condescending and not happy that I was using a Groupon ,..she was losing money on them. , The Groupon is intended to generate customers, and hopefully secure repeat customers, but the atmosphere I experienced had the opposite effect. I was not happy with the Botox treatment, and had a bruise on the injection site for several days. Dont waste your hard earned money!! more

Don't waste your $ 2/10/2012

I bought a living social deal for laser hair removal. When I called, the people were very friendly and answered all of my questions. I purchased 1 deal for 3 laser hair removal sessions. They told me that it takes most people about 3-6 sessions to seek the results they want. After my third treatment, I was offered to buy 3 more sessions at the same price I paid, so I bought 3 more. Angela the technician, is a sweetheart and she was very gentle and kind. HOWEVER, I was told during my treatments that not to worry by my 6th treatment, I should be almost completely bare (bikini area). Every time, I got a treatment, it would seem as though there was less hair, but by the 6th week, when I returned for my next visit, it also appeared as though much of it had grown back. I was continuously reassured that results would happen. I did 6 treatments, and it's now a few months later, and I would say the laser hair removal did next to nothing. I am sooooo disappointed that I spent the amount of money that I did ($300) on something that didn't even come close to working. I have to say that I think the whole laser hair thing there is a complete joke and I would NOT recommend it to a friend. more

I got a Groupon for Microdermbrasion for $59 (value $125), scheduled an apponiment and went there. When inquired the lady said it would take 40-45 mins for the treatment. After going there she was done in 8 mins??? Seriously???? 8 mins??? A rip off!!! Have got it done at other places and this lady is a joke! Will never get it done even if offered a free service!! more

If there was a way to give 0 stars I would. I agree with anyone that has had a bad experience. Went there and was expecting to get $270.00 worth of Botox since I had the Groupon that I paid a $130.00 for that said it was a $270.00 value. The owner was condesending as previously stated and thought I was pretty stupid and treated me so. Not a way to treat customers. Bottom line, you will get exactly what you pay for. I possibly received a 130.00 worth of Botox it still hasn't taken effect, a week later. I told her how much my regular Dr. does it for and she told me that was impossible to do the areas that I asked for.the $270.00 value ...which by the way I had to point out to her as she said he only charges you 130.00? I said your Groupon says $270.00 value. Kind of tripped her up on that one. Well it is not impossible and he charges by the area and does a great job He is a Dr. afterall. Don't be fooled by this place. Buyer beware. Go to Rejuv!!!! You won't be disappointed! more
