I bought a living social deal for laser hair removal. When I called, the people were very friendly and answered all of my questions. I purchased 1 deal for 3 laser hair removal ...

I also bought a coupon for botox and had a good experience. I have had this done for 2 years and by far this was the best ever. I noticed they have another coupon now and told my friend to get one. I will be recommending this spa to everyone. <3 more

Do your homework 1/13/2012

Bought a groupon for botox and was sorely disappointed. Found Angela to be very condescending. Talked me into more money and did the injenctions so quickly I about fell over. I have had botox several times before and always dealt with a physician - took their time and care - she seemed to be very careless - in a hurry - and treated me poorly because of using a groupon. After two weeks went back - eyebrows were totally different - one way too high - eyelids droopy - and no change in forehead. Again was condescending. She said it would take a month (untrue botox takes 3-5 days) lowered eyelid and said droppy eyelids happen. It's been over a week since and no change. Researched online and droopy eyelids are due to the injectionist putting in wrong spots. Lesson learned - go back to my doctor and stop using groupon discounts - would not recommend in any way! more

Never going back 12/12/2011

Horrible service. Had an appointment for microderm with Barb. I was literally in and out within 15min. I felt rushed and like I was interrupting her busy day. By the way a microderm session is $125...and I only got 15 min of service! I've had microderm done at other spas & clinics and usually they talk to you about your skin and make recommendations. Not here and not with Barb. She was mute throughout the quick appt. and very unfriendly. Waste of time and complete waste of money. NEVER GOING BACK! more

Very Happy Customer 10/26/2011

I have had nothing but a great experience with Angela at Begin With Your Skin Medspa! I was very nervous to start laser hair removal, but she was great at putting me at ease. She is always asking me during the procedure if I am doing ok, and making sure that I am not in pain! Best of all, it is working great!!! I can not wait until I am done with all of my treatments to see the final results! more

Pleased 10/12/2011

For years I wanted to treat my sun spots but was afraid. I researched a lot of businesses in the cities who did this and evencalled many of them. I knew right when I talked to the gal on the phone that I was going to go here because she took the time to explain it to me and answered my questions. I was more pleased with the staff when I went for my appointment. I bought 3 treatments and have only had one done and see a huge difference. If I had known this was going to be so easy I would have done this long ago. more

I have been a client at the spa for 2 years. I love this place. I wouldn't go anywhere else. I have had laser treatments and chemical peels. Cute atmosphere, fun people, great results. I give Begin with your Skin two thumbs up more

I have been going to Begin With Your Skin since Angela opened her business. She is EXCELLENT!! The treatments that I have received from her have made an incredible improvement in the appearance and texture of my skin. She is very honest and really cares about her patients. She knows what would help your skin and never tries to sell you a service that you don't need. I would highly recommend Begin With Your Skin to anyone who is looking to improve the quality of their skin. more

Love My MedSpa! 3/21/2011

I have been going to Begin with Your Skin for almost 3 years now and have loved every service I have gotten. I have done laser hair removal. vein therepy, photo regeneration, and Lipo-dissolve. I have had nothing but excellent results. Angela has been a great consultant, helping me make good decisions about procedures that would work well for me and about which procedures would not be to my benefit. She is honest and caring about her customers. I have referred several friends and family members to her and all of them have been equally as happy. Thank you Angela for your professionalism and your personal touch. more

I like it! 3/1/2011

I was introduced to this place through Groupon and I have been going there ever since. I love this place! If they had kinks before, they have definitely figured them out. I work during the day, so I'm thrilled that there are evening appointments available Mondays through Thursdays. They also have some really great deals on their services, some I've been offered that weren't even advertised. I'm still pretty new to skin treatments, but I've appreciated the advice and accurate descriptions of what to expect (even when I got a treatment at a different spa, they told me what to expect and how to prepare, and they were dead on). Excellent customer service and I highly recommend them. Oh, and when I've asked about specific treatments to treat my Melasma, they told me what would work and what wouldn't, and actually ended up saving me money because I would have went for a more expensive treatment that wasn't as likely to work as well. That REALLY impressed me. I haven?t seen a doctor there, but I always do night appointments and I don?t get treatments that need a doctor, so I can?t really help with info on that. more

had a laser treatment and my face was swollen and burned for over a week. as a result i have some minor facial scars that i never had prior to visiting this place. spent alot of money on a package that i will never utilize Cons: lack of professional staff more

OBVIOUSLY THE LAST POST WAS WRITTEN BY THE COMPANY'S OWNER. WHAT A JOKE! I WAS A CLIENT THERE...A WEEK AGO. THERE IS NO STAFF OTHER THAN THE OWNER AND A P/T RECEPTIONIST! THEY HAVE A DOCTOR'S NAME ON THE DOOR, BUT NO DOCTOR! I ASKED TO SEE THE DOCTOR, BUT WAS TOLD THAT SHE DID NOT ACTUALLY WORK THERE. Medspa...yeah right. There is no doctor, No medical director, nurse, esthetician or even a receptionist on staff! The owner Angela answers the phone, does the consultations, and is not a nurse or a licenced esthetician and she is providing all the treatments! Buyer beware! Don't take my word for do your own research!!! Cons: Misleading the public! more

Watch your pricing 4/14/2009

After doing a lot of research I planned to have hair removal from Begin With Your Skin Medspa. I had a great consultation and was quoted a price for two areas with a promotion for $2,400. I had purchased 3 discounted gift certificates from a 3rd party (not BWYSM) valued @ $1000 a piece with no restricitons. A week later I received a call from the owner stating that the pricing would not be honored and that the reason the gift cards were offered were to bring in new cusomers. I would have to pay an additional $650 to her to get my services. After a long conversation with her in which she did not offer any solutions other than me paying a higher fee to use these, she stated that ""she can afford to provide services to someone she is not directly getting money from"". She has a good point, but what this highlighted is that she is not upfront with her pricing and promotions. Be careful to understand her prices and promotions. Just like retail, never pay full price from here because she's probably hiding a better deal for her next customer. Pros: Friendly staff Cons: Misleading ads and pricing model more

Best spa I have ever been at- Highly recommended 10/30/2008

A friend of mine went to Begin with your Skin MedSpa; she was very pleased with her results and told me to go check it out. I went there and had a few procedures done during my lunch break. The staff is extremely helpful and knowledgeable. Angela, the owner took the time to discuss what the best options were for me. Angela is also a certified laser technician. I had skin cancer in the spring on my neck and Angela used the laser to make my scar fade. My surgeon was impressed on how faded my scars were. I will not go anywhere else! The Botox injection specialist, Bill Joy is awesome. It is quick and painless. Like I said, I go during my lunch break. The prices are very reasonable. I also did the 3D rejuvenation laser with Kara. They are all so nice. I highly recommend this MedSPa. Pros: Outstanding customer service more
