I have been going to Bartinis for years and Love it especially Thursday nights. Ladies drink free cosmos and apple martinis from 10 to 12 and the resident Thursday Night DJ is awesome . Just Last Thursday they had Dj Sizzahandz of Crooklyn Clan there -- he was awesome. So if your looking for a great time just chillax bartinis is the place. The very first time I visited this place, I was blown away by the music. As a DJ/Remixer myself, their resident DJ for Fridays is no doubt one of the best I've ever heard in action. Another highlight is that the drinks are served in a tall glass filled to the brim. Even drinks on the rocks are plentiful and very nicely priced (about $6-8). The ethnic diversity of the crowd displays a part of what NY is all about and everyone is warm and friendly. The bartenders are well dressed and classy and they certainly know how mix your drink of choice to perfection. Ever since my first visit, I've officially made this place my Friday night spot and each week seems to be filled with more pleasant surprises. Every person that I've introduced to Bartinis has had no complains and all I am asked is when I will take them back. Please do check this place out for a fun filled night where you can just be yourself and sit back, and get lost in the music.. or if you're like me, just get up out of that oh so very comfortable sofa and get your dance on. They finally got the Saturday DJ right, LOL. If you want the best music (all genres), local spot, great drinks and friendly customers? This is the place to be on a Saturday night. I haven't been here in a while because the music was so-so on Saturdays, but it's on now - I got my Saturday night spot. The music is phenomenal, you won't stop dancing and the drinks are great, very strong! It gets busy so be prepared to wait a bit for your drinks, but it's worth every penny and wait! As for "Kittenz799" (below comment), you poor soul - it's Victoria's Secret mama, you too can purchase your own push-up bra there and pray that you look as good as these bartenders. If you're going to trash talk the staff in regards to their education I recommend you follow your own advice...GET AN EDUCATION! If you've traveled the world as you stated then you would know that Cavos in Astoria is not the best place on earth and certainly will not beat out Bartini's. HANDS DOWN the place to be on a Saturday night if you're going to be in Queens. I've been a customer here for over 5 years and I still return because I never had better service anywhere! From the managers, security staff, and especially the bartenders and the DJ. The Bar and the Music is the KEY to any lounge. If you've got the music and great drinks~nothing else matters~bottom line!! The bartenders at Bartini's on any given night actually KNOW how to make a drink. That's important because this place is always busy and if you're going to wait 10 minutes (not "20") for a drink they make sure to hook you up so it's worth the wait - trust me!!! Miss Kitten (comment below) apparently had trouble with her training-bra the night she disgracefully showed face at Bartini's because the bartenders are HOT and educated (they are both college graduates by the way - it's obvious who lacks the education MISS KITTEN). And the DJ - let's put it this way - you're not going to find better DJ's on a Saturday night ANYWHERE ELSE. Everybody in this place is friendly and simply come here to have a good time and guaranteed that's what you will have. Ask any customer there and they'll say they come back because the music is off the hook, people are friendly and the place is banging! I have been in Honk Kong, Paris, Italy and many more places but never have i witnessed such phennomenal service. Starting from the Manager and ending with the bartenders. You have to understand the fact that bartenders are very fast paced workers and it would be more convenient to order all your drinks at the same time, that is if you are a person with an education. If not then you shall wait like you did for 20 minutes and then apologize yet requesting another beverage. Not all people finish highschool therefore i dont blame you. Some people work hard for there money and I think the bartenders did an outstanding job. Speed, accuracy whatever you want. I had more fun there then in Mr. Chows. Bartinis is disgusting The bouncer was ok & girl at coat check was friendly. Its a very trashy place. Unclean, unsanitarty ,Music sucked or I did not like the shi* playing. (2-16-08) So I am at the bar waiting patiently for over 20 minutes. The female airhead bartenders didnt seem to know what was going on since they were too busy keeping their push up bras in place. I got the gay looking guy to take my order. I told him the three drinks we wanted. My other friend came and told me to order a malibu for her. So the gay brings all the drinks and I tell him please get me one more drink.... He became angry and tells me that next time I should tell him my order all at once. I told him the other girl just came right now and he was persistent on telling me the same shit-no please no manners no nothing I mean I am giving him business. It is not my fault or problem he is a high school drop out or community college drop out who is stuck as a trashy bartender. I mean your just a bartender, Hellooo your nothing.. just a loser. I have been around the world and this is the first time I have experienced such nonsense.well here and at Mirage in LI... I wonder if it is because their gay? I've been going to Bartini's on & off for about a year now and I it's a great local hangout. The Friday night DJ is so much better than the Saturday night guy. You?ll have to get past a few issues, the A/C, the smell & the ladies bathroom. It gets bleedy hot in there and sometimes it seems like the A/C isn't even working. The smell, after all these years of people throwing up and spilling stuff all over the place, it's left quite a stench behind. If they don't have a plumbing problem, there are some pretty nasty women out there. The bouncers are amazing....they're only A**holes to those who require the attention. And YES, He is Gorgeous as hell! ! The staff is very friendly and welcoming. Great martini's, try the French Martini...out of this world. If you're looking for somewhere to relax and unwind, head out to Bartini's. I?ve met tons a really cool people, both men & women. I live in the neighborhood so upon the citysearch reviews i decided to go to this place 2 weeks ago on a saturday night with my husband and another couple. The bouncer told my husband he couldnt go in because he had " sneakers" on, eventhough he WAS NOT wearing sneakers! He was wearing his usual, casual, dark brown leather going out shoes with lace. But hey, i'm not gonna stand there and discuss the definition of sneakers with this bouncer. So i said whatever.. We went back to my place. After about an hour later we came back with different shoes (!!!) it was around 2 a.m already. He tells us we cant check our coats because its to late to check coats (2 a.m. ???) and going in wih our jackets was not an option! He suggestd we go back to our car leave our jackets in there and come back... Its a F**n January night, and me an the other girl are wearing very light stuff underneath so its not even an option to walk back from the car without our coats on... and the bouncer knows it too.. So i was like F**k this... I live in the neighborhood and i am not even gonna pass by this place again... that night we went to some other spot on Austin Street and eventually had fun... The drinks and prices are great, the staff is even better and the bouncer (a certain one) gorgeous as hell!!!! The crowd is excellent.... but the D.J. on saturday nights not only looks like my grandfather but he is the worst!!!!!!!!!! now i've been there several times and there has been no improvment. i thought it was just me but its not. I thought maybe if me and my girls went on a friday night it would be better But long and be hold grandpa was there too!! Went there a few weekends ago. The staff were really nice, incl. the bartenders who were attentive and didnt have attitudes, and the drinks were decently strong. The bouncers were super cool (which is rare in NYC). One bouncer even offered my friend a bottle of water when she wasnt doing too well (if you know what i mean). Definitely going back! i remember you and your friend that night and its true that i tried to pour out of the empty bottle. The reason behind that is was cuz it was too busy and that extra ingredient "triple sec" has barely any alcohol in it, so if anything I was doing you a favor by making you a stronger drink. I went to Bartini in Forest Hills on a friday night, crowd was great, nice music. I was having a good time ,till my male bestfriend(who also is a Batender at another club) ordered me a Long Island Ice tea, as the Slimy,shady bold head,short bartender was mixing my drink, my male friend noticed he picked up a EMPTY BOTTLE and acted like he was pouring with another bottle in his other hand. my friend brought it to his attention and the slimy,shady,bold head short son of a b***h, told my friend he has a good eye and then picked up a full bottle of one of the drinks that belong in a Long ice tea and made my drink correct. So the next time you go to this club or any other clubs, when you order drinks, watch exactly what these bartenders are doing. Pros: nice lounge with valet parking, close to home if you live in queens and dont want to drive into the city! Cons: Slim, shady bold head bartender who tried to take customers for suckers. more

This is a great lounge in a great area of Queens. The Martini's are the best I've ever had, and I've had a lot. The crowd is fun, which makes it entertaining. ive been to bartinis many times, its fun, good crowd, great d.j., service is great, if youve been there and you dont like it your intitled to your opinion. its a great great place. drinks are terrific. wow a queens bar/lounge thats like going to the city maybe even better and there is no cover to get into a bar that has happy hour tuesday to friday ladies night every thursday d.j. and coat check in the winter, and they serve food, and free valet on fridays and saturdays.
