For everyone out there that is looking for a great dry cleaner - DO NOT TAKE ANYTHING TO BARRY REGENT! 8/9/2006

I tried Barry Regent because of their; Quality comes from a commitment to providing the best service mantra. Of the three times I tried Barry Regent, twice blouses came back with stains from their equipment. The stains are VERY apparent and have ruined the garments. The best part is that they included a tag on the hanger of the ""cleaned and pressed"" shirts that said something to the extent of ""The stains in this garment have been evaluated and due to safety we can assure you that the garment has received the best dry cleaning we can offer."" After confronting them about the ruined shirt, not only did they try to tell me that I had brought the shirt in that way and it was my fault, but that the guy that cleans spots is at lunch and he can look at it when he gets back. more

Best Dry Cleaner in Lakeview/Lincoln Park 6/10/2006

We've been bringing clothes we really care about (and clotes with special problems) here for a t least a decade. They have consistently meticulous attention to detail and an on-site cleaning plant. Unlike the other user who posted a review, I have always found them knowlegeable and willing to solve any problems that arise. The big downside (and the reason we no longer use them for everyday cleaning) is price. Although I haven't done a scientific survey. they are considerably more expensive than other cleaners in the neighborhood, particularly if you have cleaning delivered. Horrible service 9/5/2005

I brought in a $3,000 wedding dress to be cleaned and vacuum sealed. The cleaned the dress and stuck it in a fold-up yourself cardboard box with some tape to seal it. This is NOT how you store a dress so it lasts for 20 years! These people are horrible to deal with and the last reviewer is right... they do not value your business. I had to take my dress somewhere else to get this done properly. They charged me $220 for nothing! Cons: customer service, expensive, liars more
