I went to Barragan's for the first time very excited because I had heard great things about them and had very high expectations. I left the salon crying. I asked the girl who did my hair to leave it about 2 inches below my chin. I left with it barley below my ear. I guess she cut too short from the start and had to keep on going. I was so shocked I left the salon without saying anything, but was in tears before I made it to the car. I called the next day and asked to speak to the owner/manager Yoli, and proceeded to tell her how upset I was that I had received such a horrible haircut. She told me to come in and she would have someone fix it. When I got there, I asked to speak to her and she told me that my haircut was ""technically"" a good one, even if it wasn't what I asked for and that all she could do to fix it was to cut more off. My boyfriend went with me for moral support. Well, Yoli was extremely rude and not accomodating at all. She proceeded to tell me that I should have spoken up and been more clear about what I had wanted for my haircut. I told her I had had the lady who cut my hair show me TWICE where it would be and she cut it 3 inches shorter than that anyway. The owner/manager had another girl cut more off the back, to make it look better while it grows out. She didn't offer to give me my money back. I am extremely upset with them, especially with Yoli, the woman who owns the salon. How they got such a good reputation I will never know, and I will never go back again!!They might have some people who cut good hair, but trust me, if they screw up they will do NOTHING to make it better short of making you feel like it was your fault for getting the haircut you didn't want in the first place!
