More comfortable chairs for reading. 3/25/2008

My cousin and I visit this store once a week for a Starbucks and finding new books. We like to sit and review the books to decide which ones we want. We have been disappointed for the last several months because two of the big stuffed chairs were removed and not replaced. The remaining two are in dire need of reupholstering. Regardless of their shabby shape, they are ALWAYS in use and we have to use the very uncomfortable chairs that Starbucks provide with their tables or the hard very uncomfortable chairs at the large wood table in the back that is usually full. The store is kept clean and most of the employees are friendly and helpful. Some employees are somewhat snooty. more

Nice atmosphere 7/7/2005

This a a nice store to shop in. The location is convenient, right off of Golf Road not too far from Woodfield mall. The store is a good size, although this location does not carry music or videos. They do have a great selection of books and magazines, and the cafe makes it a nice place to spend time. more

o.k bookstore 5/16/2005

This is a very nice well kept bookstore but it should try a little harder to keep up to par with their competitor Borders. I would reccommend borders over barnes and noble because the selection is better there. more

Barnes and Nobles has a nice selction of books. Although their return policy is too strict. How ever, the employees are really nice and helpful. It is also nicely kept. more

A great place to learn 5/6/2005

I've been to this location several times and I am very pleased with it. The atmosphere is really relaxing and quiet. Its a great place to browse books or read. The sales reps are really helpful and are great at locating items and finding nearby stores with items you many need. more

Books and CD's 4/23/2005

Barnes and Nobles offers a wide variety of books, magazines, and CD's that you can purchase. They have a pretty good selection of CD's. It's nice because you can peruse through the books and magazines before purchasing them. The Starbuck's cafe in the back of the store makes it convenient for those who want to relax or study while enjoying a cup of coffee. They offer a discount for teachers on educational supplies. Leisure Reading and Buying Books 4/23/2005

This store has every book you would like to read and purchase as well magazines, CDs, etc. It also has a Starbucks coffee shop inside, so you can read and study with friends and family members. If you can't find a particular book at the store, you can order it there or on their website. I've bought many books at this store from SAT/ACT prep books to just books I needed to read for school. It's just a relaxing place to sit and enjoy a good book! PROS: You can become a Barnes & Noble member and save 10% on all your purchases! CONS: more
