Great Salon! 7/16/2011

Jackie has been my stylist at Barberia for years. I have continued going to her even though I have moved out of the Foster City area and down to San Jose. She is definitely worth the drive! She does an amazing job on my cuts and color and is super fun to chat with. more

Simply the Best! 2/3/2011

Madeline has been attending my hair needs for many many years and with thick, frizzy, natural curly hair that has been a challenge but she rises to the occasion every time! She is the best colorist (also teaches at CSM) and I love the French technique, Balyage for natural looking highlights. Did I mention that I am 50+ years old? more

I love this salon. I came across it three years ago because of its good reviews, and my experiences show that the reviews are well-deserved! Heidi is my stylist, and she does a fantastic job. She is really sweet and knows how to choose a style and color that looks nice and that suits your lifestyle. more

Barberia - Simply the Best 12/9/2010

I have been going to the Barberia, and I love Liza, my stylist for over 4 years. After moving to the area and trying to find a great place for hair and being VERY disappointed with L Salon in San Mateo (having to schedule dual appts - one stylist for cut and one technician for color, having to style my own hair after a color service, and pay for parking!) I am so glad I found the Barberia. The staff is awesome, always friendly and helpful and best of all, my hair looks great! more

Love, Love, Love the Barberia! 12/7/2010

I have been going to the Barberia since 1989. Over the years I have had several different stylists, but none compare to Irene! She is first and foremost, a great person and friend. I have never been dissappointed with my color and haircut and she is great about trying out new styles and products on me. I enjoy my appointments because they are relaxing and fun - a nice break from my hectic schedule. The staff is wonderful - Melissa is professional and efficient! This salon is well worth the money. more

Barberia is hands down the best hair salon 12/4/2010

I've been going to Barberia for 15 years, since I was 15. Since then I've moved to Denver, Sacramento, and now the central valley. I've tried to find other hair salons closer- but they just don't compare to Barberia! The salon is wonderful, they have the best hair products and always have the latest hair treatments. The staff is friendly, professional and knowledgeable. more

I've been going to Barberi for 6 years and would highly recommend it. They're very professional, yet friendly. They stay on top of the latest trends, and have great products to try (& buy if you want). They also give birthday discounts. I'd highly recommend my hairstylist, Irene. She helps me try new things without going too far, and she cares very much that I'm happy with the outcome. Like I said, check it out -- you won't be disappointed! more

Happy hair 11/23/2010

I stumbled upon this place about 6 years ago, and have been back ever since. My hairstylist, Mimi, is great, attentive, and does a great job. I come every 6-8 weeks (and that's stretching it!) and look forward to knowing that my hair is being done exactly the way I like it. I have never left here being disappointed. I love how the salon gives out samples of the owners own product line. more

Madeline is the best hair stylist at the Barberia Salon. I have been cutting and dying my hair with Madeline for 20 years. She can make my thin flat hair look like a movie star! Madeline is very enjoyable, interesting and fun. Thank heavens for Madeline, she is my guardian angel! more

Barbaria is a fantastic salon. All the stylists have credentials, so you don't leave with a shaved head if you didn't want one or purple hair if you wanted auburn. It's great that they use Aveda products and for a reasonable price as opposed to some Aveda salons. After each haircut or color treatment, you get a luxurious massage at the shampoo station which is always a treat. I drive 20 minutes for this place, and it's worth it for sure! more

This is by far the BEST bay area salon. Everyone in this place is highly talented. Terry keeps everyone up to date on the latest trends, everyone is friendly and most of all, the salon always looks clean and organized. The staff is wonderful. I have been going to Barberia for the past 8-9 years and they are the best! Terry and Liza are the best at what they do and I recommend them to all of my friends. I love that they are an Aveda salon as well as have their own products. Recently they added waxing to their menu and Lon excels in that department. I highly, highly, highly recommend Barberia!!!!!! more
