We have been with Banfield Hospital (with Banfield Health Plan Insurance) for about 10 years. We usually take our dog to Banfield, Maple Grove,MN location. But they were to busy and suggest us to try other location. So, we took my dog to Banfield, Plymouth, MN on 4/18/14 for an appointment at 4:45 p.m. We arrived on time. We were waiting at the registerator to check-in for about 10 minute. That was not a problem, we understood they were busy. Then we were in the exam room waiting for the technician for another 20-25 minutes. Then another waiting for the Vet due to some sort of emergency with other dog, that was also ok. What we felt really uncomfortable was this "Dr. S Godding" came in trying to puch us so hard on all kind of exams for over $500, even we told her our dog had the UI before, all we needed were probablly some sort of Urinalysist test and antibolics. Of course, we disagreed some unnecessary tests. Then she told us to leave our dog there and go back to pick her up at 6:45 p more

never again 12/16/2010

i took my cat too a banfield vet, ten days befor christmas, her ears were bothering her. when she was getting checked they noticed some gingivitas.\r I signed onto the wellness plan because ears and tooth care were covered by it, signed an endorsment saying the could treat my cat and went on my way.\r when i returned to get my cat not only did the clean her teeth and ears, they gave her every treatment and procedure on the wellness plan at one time, worm and flea medicine when she had niether tons of blood and organ tests she didnt need and i didnt want.\r and the best part is, to cancel my plan i had to pay trhe full amount over 500 dollars all together, all and more of the chrisatmas money i had saved. \r i will never go to a banfield vet again, and i will never be so foolish as to trust a vet to do what is right for my animals again more

Okay for specialty items -- overprice on general items 7/19/2005

PetsMart is an okay store. They have a large variety of things you might need or want for your pet, and they have things for more than just dogs and cats. I've purchased several "accessory" items here, and I've been pleased with them. But as far as prices on the basics -- kitty food and kitty litter -- I can do better with the regular prices at Target and Walmart -- and MUCH better when those stores have sales. more
