I would never recommend this organization. After countless messages to all levels of staff, I still receive phone calls from staff looking for the maintenance man, Tom. If these people can't dial a phone number correctly, how can they even do their jobs correctly? I get really graphic voicemails on a daily basis about how Tom needs to come by and clean up yet another blood spill, this time by the pool, other times by the rooms, etc. I want this to end, I am tired of the horrible customer service I receive when I have gotten 85+ phone calls from this place in the past few months. I do not recommend this place at all. AWFUL. more

Pathetic 3/26/2012

I worked at Avery Heights and in the years that I worked there the administrative department had a way of covering up their mistakes. I just heard from a friend of mine that still works there that they are still up to hiding their BIG mistakes under the rug. I wish that the family members of the elderly that live there and that have passed on would have Avery Heights investigated before enrolling their loved ones there and even after their loved ones passed on... more

TROUBLE at Avery Heights ""AGAIN"" 9/5/2010

Both my parents lived at Avery Heights. To our surprise there has been numerous break ins and intruders making their way into the apartments of the residents. My parents were victims, the intruder stole cash and jewelry. When I went into inquire about the horrible nightmare they went through I found out there is no SECURITY to PROTECT the residents (I mean NO SECURITY at all) . Anyone can walk in and find their way into any hallway or floor. I found out it happens quite often at Avery Heights. Thank goodness they left before they were harmed, by any intruders and by the staff. Please DON""T be fooled like we were. more
