I was completely shocked after an oil change to find out that the charge for an 8 cylinder vehicle is over $60! I had a regular mechanic and he never charged more than $30. Autoba...

Exceptional service 7/23/2013

I had my car towed to Autobahn Automotive after getting a $6,000 estimated to replace the engine of my 2005 Jetta TDI from Leith VW of Raleigh. Robert from Autobahn Automotive took the time to thoroughly inspect my vehicle and found the estimate of work to be done from Leith was unnecessary. Robert was able to fix my car for under $2,000 and it runs like new. I was so impressed with the professionalism and integrity of Robert and have recommended him to all of my friends that own foreign cars, especially VWs. I will never take my car anywhere else for maintenance and service. I trust Robert and his staff to protect and prolong the life of my car. I am so thankful I found Autobahn Automotive! more

Efficient, helpful 7/19/2013

Robert diagnosed our car problems quickly, and sent me an email describing what needed to be replaced, and we talked via phone to confirm the repairs. He also caught a bad oil leak and suggested we go to the dealer first to see if it could be repaired under warranty. He send a photo of the leak that we showed to the dealer illustrating the leak. Robert also found and removed two mouse nests in the ducts of the car that we hadn't detected. more

honest and fairly priced 7/15/2013

I was recommended this place after a 700 dollar fiasco at my Mazda dealership. At autobahn, Robert called me back in a reasonable time (5hours) with an inexpensive solution to my engine light being on. Sure enough my problem was fixed for a fraction of what the dealership charged without even fixing the problem. This was extremely helpful to my checkbook as well as my peace of mind. (I have a baby on the way in a week or so, so needless to say money is tight). So THANK YOU to your team there and I will be bringing our vehicles there from now on. P.S. I think y'all washed it for me too. Outstanding. :) more

Worked Smoothly with Collision Shop 7/11/2013

When I brought my car in to get an oil change and brakes, Robert noticed a crack on my transmission mount and sent me a picture of it. The crack was from a previous accident, that had gone unnoticed by the collision repair shop originally. Luckily, I was able to contact that shop and get insurance authorization to have the work done based on Robert's estimate. It was no trouble at all having the payment routed through the collision shop to Autobahn, and the repairs were completed in a timely manner. Excellent honest service 6/23/2013

I was recommended to Robert Blake and I was totally pleased. I am from out of town and wanted to help my daughter,a new Raleigh resident,get her 10 year old Toyota serviced. I called and got an estimate the next day detailed in an email. The estimate seamed reasonable so the work was completed by the next afternoon. I have been going to Autobahn Automotive for two years now. As a young female, I have been tricked and schemed by many mechanics in my past so finding Autobahn Automotive was a welcomed change. The Drake's are fair, friendly and fast. The loner cars they offer is a wonderful perk as you can drop your car off and get it serviced while you carry on about your day. I have recommend them to a lot of my friends and I would recommend them to you too! more
