I was car shopping and when you live in the northwest, you expect to do everything in the rain. I went to Austins Affordable. It must of been the 4th car lot that I've gone to that day. They were the only ones where their sales man came out with an umbrella & held it over my head while I was looking for a car to buy. He helped me find a car that I wanted and the young lady behind the counter was more then pleasant. Thank you guys, keep on, keeping on. more

Great Customer Service is a must to be able to stay in Biz as long as 25 years! To always believe in putting the Customer First... And that is something that Austin's Affordable Auto's has always done! you cant make everyone happy but you can sure make a Hugh effort in trying to get it done:) more

My husband and I bought a car from Austin's Affordable Auto about 3 months ago and LOVE IT!! WE were able to put a down payment with our hard earned TAX Money..... We shopped around a little but our good friends told us to come to Austins for a great deal and good car that will last us! So we did and we bought a Chevy Tahoe 2000 for $4,995! Dang now that I think about it we got such a great deal i feel so blessed. so if anyone needs to save money on a car they should come here! don't listen to all that bad news that i see on the reviews. Nobody is perfect and we all make mistakes. that is why we are human right? and i hear its his EX doing it... so we all know how EX's can be bitter... more

I found Austins Affordable Autos to be quite a nice dealership. One of their new sales men Tom took a ton of time and showed me all of the cars that were in my price range and helped me find the best one for me. I looked at 5 other used car dealerships and these guys got the lowest prices man! I'm recommending these guys to my friends for sure. more

APRIL GRINDLE WAS FIRED FOR HER COMPLETE INCOMPETENCE WHICH RANGED FROM CANT LEARN PAPERWORK, TO REPOSSESSING CARS THAT WERE NOT DUE ON PAYMENT , TO TITLE PROCESSES THAT COST THE COMPANY THOUSANDS. SHE HAS BEEN FIRED FROM EVERY JOB SHE HAS BEEN GIFTED IN RECENT YEARS AND LIVES OFF THE GOOD GRACES AND CHARITABLE MEN LIKE MR AUSTIN. WHEN THOSE GIFTS STOP SHE BRAGS OF HER CRIMINAL CONNECTION AND ALL THE "" BAD MEN "" SHE KNOWS AND ALL SHE CAN MAKE HAPPEN TO YOU. THESE ARE HER 1 STAR POSTS. WE HAVE SOLD OVER 26,000 CARS IN 20 YEARS. HARD TO DO IF WE WERE OPERATING ILLEGALLY. GOOD LUCK APRIL, AND SPEND A LITTLE OF THIS TIME WITH THOSE POOR KIDS INSTEAD OF WRITING BS REVIEWS ALL DAY. I'm an old aquaintance of April Grindle's-this isn't just the work of a disgruntled employee-this is a lifetime of disgusting behavior-you are incompetent in everything you do. It doesn't start or end here. You have been ""unjustly"" fired from every job you've ever had-which isn't many to begin with. It's always either a ""family emergency"" or a ""problem with the kids' daycare"" or your back or your neck-come on April. If you don't get what you want from someone or get called out on the carpet you start the slandering process. I've had enough and have kept my voice silent long enough. The minute you meet someone you start the evidence collection process for the second you don't get whatever it is that you want. You never provide for your children-you can't keep a roof over your head long enough to give them any stability of any kind. You have no ammunition on me-I am an open book so go ahead and try. The people who mind don't matter and the people who matter don't mind. If you can't sleep with it, on it, or under it-why bother right? Earn your own money, get your own home and bills in your own name and quit using everyone and every situation around you. These people aren't your friends. They are just using you like you use everyone else, and when they're done they will discard you like an old tissue. Have some dignity and grow up and love your wonderful children the way they deserve. You treat them like crap and pawn them off on anyone who will take them so you can go out and get drunk. Find something better to do with your time and let the people who want to try to start over do just that. Nobody's perfect- and people have given you more than your first, second, third, and fourth chances deserve the same in return. All of this will be remembered down the road when you come crawling back to your ""friends"" and ask for forgiveness like you always do. Not this time sweet pea. Let people move on with their lives and find one of your own please. I really tried to be no matter what with you over the years but I can't stand by and watch this anymore. more

SO I AM 26 YEARS OLD... AND WHEN I WAS YOUNG AND DUMB I CALL IT... I HAD THE BEST CREDIT BUT OF COURSE THINGS CAN CHANGE WHEN YOU TAKE LIFE FOR GRANTED.... I LOST EVERYTHING AND I HAVE COME SO FAR TO GET BACK ON MY FEET AND MAKE MY LIFE BETTER THEN WHAT IT WAS. I HAD A JOB BUT NEEDED A CAR. NOBODY WOULD HELP ME WITH MY CREDIT. NOBODY WOULD TAKE THE TIME TO SHOW ME OPTIONS... I HEARD ABOUT AUSTINS FROM A FAMILY FRIEND WHO HAS BEEN GOING THERE FOR YEARS... I HAD SAVED MONEY FOR A DOWN PAYMENT. I WENT DOWN THERE AND TEST DROVE A FEW CARS AND THEN PICKED ONE... I DID INHOUSE FINANCING!! MY CREDIT DIDNT EFFECT ME FOR ONCE.... I WALKED I MEAN I DROVE OFF THE LOT A NEW PERSON AND I HAVE BEEN ON MY FEET EVER SINCE... AND MY CREDIT IS BACK TO NORMAL. SOMETIMES IT JUST TAKES SOMEONE TO GIVE YOU THAT SECOND CHANCE!! wow people-seriously-maybe you should find something better to do other than sit on the computer all day slandering someone who SOLD YOU A CAR with obviously LESS than stellar credit and probably a lousy work history. Unless it rolls off the showroom floor it's gonna have problems. Be adults and see things for what they are-used cars. If you want perfection, try cleaning up your credit and life and go buy a brand-new car. Otherwise shut up and go to work more

purchased my car from Austin's four years ago, after walking off of four other lots. I got a great car for $4,100, which was under blue book. The transaction was quick and straight forward. The late model car held together beautifully, with only minor repairs and regular maintenance. This dealership deals with late model cars, so homework, and having the engine looked at by a knowledgeable person is always a good idea (regardless of where you buy from). I would not hesitate to look at cars at this lot in the future. more

wow i cant believe this company would ever get a bad review! i love the service Well... judging by the other reviews on this place... my husband and I are the exception... We've bought 2 cars with Austins so far, and both have been good, reliable vehicles. The only problems we've had are completely expected for the age and mileage of the cars. Both have been financed through Austins (we paid 1/2 down) and although the late fees are really high and a little outrageous, we haven't had any issues. If we had to buy another car, we would definitely go back to Austins. They haven't screwed us yet! more

I went into Austin's yesterday and i needed a new car for my family....... I had a car that i thought that nobody would want to take as a trade in with little money down..... To my surprise my car wasn't as bad as i thought... The salesmen took the time to talk with me and find out what my needs were and what he could do for me...... Took a few cars for a test drive which was great.... They treated me like a normal person... Never once rude or short... I left with a new car and left the old one behind with a great trade in Value!! Thank you so much Austin's for all your help! We bought a 2000 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo from Austins a couple of months ago. I wanted to wait to write a review because I had a couple of problems with the Jeep after I bought it, and as it turned out the issues were fairly minor considering the mileage and age of the vehicle, and I will point out that the mechanics at Austins offered to help fix one of the issues. The customer service and experience was great and hassle free. Seems like it took all day just looking and seeing what our options were. At the end of the day I put 2000 down and ended up in a decent used car to last a couple of years and help rebuild my credit. At the end of the day my wife has a nice 2009 Dodge Journey as her daily driver and the jeep is my toy for fishing and camping. When it dies in a couple of years I'll be back to get another one if I don't just end up rebuilding the engine. I would buy from Austins again if they have a suitable vehicle.... I'll conclude in saying this: When you are looking at used cars make sure you find the car you like and take the time to look it over. By rule, older cars with higher mileage need tender loving care (eg: special oil, upkeep every 3000 miles) In this new economy Austins is a great resource. Like anything you need to be responsible if you finance. If you use their in-house financing make sure your payments are on time. We haven't had any problems so the experience has been good. If your a cash buyer looking for decent used vehicles I would recommend Austins. If your looking for in-house financing for your credit situation I would caution you to consider the consequences (eg. High interest rates, late fee's and repossession) if you fail to make your payments on time. Those are considered Hi-Risk loans and companies don't mess around. All around 4 out of 5 stars for what it is worth. Good Customer Service, Good Selection, Alternative Financing. I marked off a star because the Jeep had an oil leak and Coolant leak. Fixed for under $300 more

I had just started a new job and I was running really low on cash. Austin's was the only one that would help me financially, and with no questions asked. I found their staff extremely helpful and nice. I drove off the lot that day with a running car and it only cost me $200 down. Whether you have $200 or $2000 Austin's will help you out without trying to sell you something that you don't need or don't want. Thanks again!! more

Aside from the mouse cage, it all went well the day we came in for our van. The kids were out of control and the staff here just put in a movie and gave them a soda. We ran through the paperwork and did the whole deal rather quickly as a matter of fact. The van runs great and the kids survived the experience. I wanted to thank everyone for the experience because it surely could have gone a lot worse all things considered. Very happy with the whole thing and most of all my bank account is happy! saved money i was able to take care of some other bills just by the savings. more

My boyfriend and I just went in there today and had a great experience. It was about the sixth place we had been to today and by far, gave us the best treatment. Our sales guy was great and the owner gave us all the needed details. They even had problems on running my card at first and the owner took care of it. We would have never been able to go somewhere and get bank financing. I have a pending divorce and he has no credit. We really need a second car and found the perfect one for our family. We were in and out in less than an hour. They take car of all the DEQ and DMV. We got a great price on the Land Rover. I am so happy with it. Thank you guys so much! I will send anyone I know who needs a car here first. And if I ever need to buy another car, this will be the first place I go. more

I have been searching for a reliable car for a couple months now.... I searched many many websites and never found anything i could buy with my credit. i had money down just horrible credit from a recent divorce.... Austin's allowed me to do a (in-house financing )... was able to make my monthly payments within my budget..
