I like the sheer fade-off Mychelle places on top of eyeliner. It is sweet! I have tried to create the look on my clients but mine just looks like a double color eyeliner, which is still good. We all anxiously await the next section of information on the Aura Of Beauty website. It is probably the most watched permanent makeup site. She breaks things down into pieces and explains them. It helps us and I am grateful she puts everything on there. Other websites just list the benefits? like oh how nice it can be. Mychelle lays it all out there, and if you want it fine, if not fine. She has been the first to make connections and put two and two together many times. For instance, the connection between permanent makeup not taking well on lips with restylane in them. It is funny to watch after she adds new information on her site, someone else will write an article on the information hoping to be thought of as the one with the thought/idea/news, but we have already read it on her site too. She was the first to suggest eyeliner can be done more than one way in one style. It started the ball rolling and helped us start thinking outside of the box and trying new things. more

My eyebrows and eyeliner look picture perfect. Mychelle has her own way of doing permanent makeup. It is the best that I have seen. I can go out to the store without putting any other makeup on. Soooo convenient! more

Mychelle is the best, without a doubt. She does more permanent makeup than anyone else, so knows more about it and does it better. Before I had heard about Mychelle at Aura Of Beauty in Tulsa, I went with a couple friends to Norman for procedures. It was a fortunate thing that there was not enough time for all of us to have everything done that we wanted. I had eyeliner and lips done, but was not able to get brows also on that day. A week later I was at the Belle Cambiare Spa in Muskogee. The esthetician said she regretted not spending the extra money to go to Mychelle for permanent makeup. I made an eyebrow appt with Mychelle. I guess she felt sorry for me and fixed my eyeliner for free. She said she didn't want that awful eyeliner on the same face with her eyebrows. A few months passed and there was not a trace of lip color. I went back to Norman for the free touchup. My lips became infected and the antibiotics they prescribed were not helping. My lips also look like they have light areas and dark patches in them. I called Mychelle for help, even though she did not do my lips. She said I needed a different antibiotic and called it in for me. About the dark spots, she said either the color wasn't evenly implanted or I hyperpigmented, but she couldn?t say for sure without seeing them. The infection cleared up shortly after starting the new antibiotics. My lips still look splotchy. I would rather have no color than this mess. I can't afford to have Mychelle fix my lips. I have spent all my income tax return now. I hope this helps someone else avoid the same unhappy situation that results from going to just anybody for permanent makeup. more

Oklahoma laws state the permanent makeup procedures are not to be done outside a physician?s office. I agree that is an extra measure of protection for clients because although most procedures go well, there will be a percentage that will encounter some difficulty that a non-medical person cannot deal with. I am a nurse who works in a doctors office, and we recommend Mychelle Tulk to anyone who wants permanent makeup. She is a nurse who worked in surgery at a Tulsa hospital for over ten years. We know that she has the sterilization expertise to prevent transmission of any communicable diseases. Merely using disposable needles doesn?t protect the patient. Other parts of the machine and other items used can pose opportunity for passing along something you don?t want. It happens more than the public realizes. Mychelle has the artistic flare that is needed to make permanent makeup look pretty. There are permanent makeup artists sprouting up all over the place, but the look is different among them. I love how Mychelle does it and she is the only one I am comfortable going to or recommending. more

My permanent makeup is perfect. My eyeliner is blackbrown with a taupe shadow highlighter. My eyebrows are similar color strokes light brown. I was so excited to be able to arrange for my mother and I to detour through Tulsa on the way back from a family reunion to get permanent makeup by Mychelle Tulk. I am from Houston, TX and also do permanent makeup ? trained 2 yrs ago. When I was in training my instructor called Mychelle?s application descriptions ?wishful thinking?. I am wearing the proof of her descriptions and will be the first in line to buy her book and sign up for her advanced classes. Over the past couple of years, Mychelle has been gracious enough to answer questions and explain difficulties I encountered in doing this. Other permanent makeup artists read her website to learn. I don?t think there is a permanent makeup artist in the US that hasn?t read over the Aura Of Beauty website. You might say Mychelle is teaching old dogs new tricks. It takes someone with a creative mind and artistic flare to think up and perfect the techniques that sets new standards for the industry. more

My eyebrows are so perfect. I couldn't be happier. I had considered getting permanent makeup on my eyebrows a long time before I actually did it. I read all the information I could find on the internet, then started the search for someone to do it. I could not find anyone in Kansas that was doing it. Mabe it is not legalized in KS. I searched deep and wide for the best person possible to do my permanent eyebrows. After much looking, I would have been willing to drive across three states to go to Mychelle. My teen sister rode with me for the trip to Tulsa, Oklahoma. Michelle let my sis Kara sit in a chair in the corner of the permanent makeup room while she drew my eyebrows and did the procedure. I had no eyebrow hairs to speak of, and Mychelle did a light tinted base with various tones of hairstrokes on top. When we were finished with my procedure, Mychelle looked at Kara and said ""your eyebrows are driving me crazy, sit down here and let me fix them"". Kara has big bushy eyebrows. Mychelle shaped and plucked them (not permanent makeup). Kara looked so pretty and feminine with her new brow shape. We were grateful for the freebie, and I left thinking that is what you want in a permanent makeup artist: an obsessive complusive perfectionist. My eyebrows are seven months old now. I did not need a touchup. The shape and color are perfectly beautiful. more

I had my permanent makeup applied by Mychelle at Aura Of Beauty. I chose her because I had looked at portfolios of a few different permanent makeup artists in Tulsa, and her makeup looks soft and dreamy. One of the other artists said it was not possible to create the looks described on Mychelle's website. I was getting a little confused, and asked Mychelle if there was people I could look at in person. She gave me the names of four doctors offices, two spas, and one beauty salon where I could just walk in and see a receptionist or other employee that has her permanent makeup. I went to three locations. I was impressed with what I saw and with what they had to say about their makeup. They all highly recommended her. One lady let me rub her makeup with a wet q-tip, so I knew it was really a make-up tattoo.\r \r I booked an appt for eyeliner and eyebrows. Mychelle is a miracle worker with eyebrows. I was in awe over how a good set of eyebrows makes a person look so much better. She did my eyeliner in a few different shades ranging blackbrown to golden beige. It is so perfect. Eyeliner pencils could not graduate into different tones like she is able to do with the little tattoo needles. It did not hurt while she did the work. I slept through most of it, and barely remember it. That was three years ago. My eyeliner still looks as good as it did in the beginning. My eyebrows are fading a little and I expect to need a touchup in the next year or so.\r \r For anyone considering getting permanent makeup, Mychelle is without doubt the best that there is. I recommend her to anyone who wants to do this. Having permanent eyeliner and eyebrows has been great. I can do yardwork, exercise, swim, laugh, or cry, and look good while I do it. My permanent makeup is all I have on 80% of the time. As long as the eyes are dressed up and brows on, a face doesn't look plain or washed out. The rest of the facial makeup doesn't matter. I am very happy with it. more
