Best in Class Total Package 2/22/2009

I have visited many of NYC's finest restaurants, and this one easily rose to the top of my list. For appetizer, my husband and I ordered the cured tasmanian seat trout and the hanger steak wrap; for entree, we shared the pork roast for two. The presence of Asian ingredients in some of the dishes provided a surprising, yet refreshing, twist. Overall, fantastic food, attentive staff, and we were delighted to find a full section of Alsatian wines. If I must point out an area for improvement, I would say the capachinno felt a little less than ultra-fresh - but it could be an issue of my personal taste. Still, as a total package, this experience beats Gordon Ramsey's London just down the street. Pros: Food, Ambience, Staff Cons: Almost None more
