This place is AMAZING. It was both my first and final stop along the bridal trail. The boutique is really beautiful and charming and always smells great! They have a very nice selection of dresses ranging from reasonable to moderately priced. Even to this day, when I pass by their window display, it's hard to look away. Athena's Bridal Boutique makes me want to get married again and again! The girl who helped me completely understood my vision and unlike a lot of other shops, I was able to go through all the dresses myself and I thought that was really fun.! more

Jo-Ann is absolutely the best sales person I have ever met! She made my experience at Athenas so easy and fun. I did not even plan on buying a dress in Florida because I was only visiting from NJ for 5 days, but the prices and selection at Athenas were wonderful. Athena's proved to be the best choice for the gown of my dreams. After placing my order in February, my gown arrived in May in perfect condition with the correct size ordered. First of all let me say that Jo Anne is the best! If you MUST go to that store, see Jo Anne! I worked with Jo Anne, everything was going well and I found the wedding dress I want, it was $950, and they told me they would discount it $100 to it will be $850. I went home to think about it, and I found the same dress selling everywhere else for $758. I called Jo Anne and let her know and she asked the owner, and the owner said she will match it. I was excited, I came to the store the next day, and as I?m checking out, the owner asked me ?where did you find it again?? and I gave her the websites, she said ?oh it wasn?t in a store? I can?t honor that price?. She kept arguing with me and she ended up offering me a price of $800 which is only $42 more dollars than the price I found. I was already upset because she said she would honor it and backed out last minute! I left the store without paying to reconsider the dress. (Keep in mind she is arguing with me over $42 when I?m ALSO buying a $150 belt, a $150 veil, and possibly shopping there for bridesmaid dresses) They call me 30 min after I leave offering me the $758 price I wanted, ?BUT WITH NO SERVICE?? What? What does that mean? ?It means that we will not steam your dress. We will give it to you in the box it comes in? It doesn?t cost $40 dollars to steam a dress, and this place has horrible reviews already! Bottom line is I found the dress at 5 stores near me, and I?m going to get the dress from them for $758, and paying the extra $40 dollars she wanted to charge me so badly to Jo Anne! So this owner just lost a 1500 dollar sale over 40 dollars and a bad attitude! If I?m spending that much? I EXPECT SERVICE! DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE! THERE ARE SOOOO MANY BRIDAL STORES THAT WILL GIVE YOU ALL THE ATTENTION AND SERVICE YOU NEED, and you won?t have to argue to get what you want!!! more

Athena's Bridal Boutique was an amazing experience. I found them online and went the next day. I was in a dilema and needed a gown for our March 3, 2012 wedding which only gave me 3 weeks. I explained to them the situation and they said no worries they would take good care of me. They were absolutely correct. Jo Ann was the greatest, most personable and caring person. She understood what I wanted and needed. I found the perfect dress and my alterations are next week. Athena's catered to my needs and they have a fantastic selection of designer gowns. There prices are reasonable as well. Jo Ann truely cared about my situation and wanted to help. Every employee of the boutique was warm and caring. I am so excited about my wedding day and they made my dream come true with the amazing dress, a Maggie Sottero design, J1488. The horrible experience prior was with David's Bridal. The alterations on my dress were a nightmare and when I went back for my 2nd fitting, the dress was ruinned. They were not empathetic at all. I am going to fight them to get my money back. Wedding dress shopping for me was not a very fun experience, as I got engaged in November '10 and planning a wedding for March '11, so I was rushed to get a dress. Athena's was the first place I went, and the service was spectacular. Joann was my consultant and once she found out my style, she put in me in a dozen dresses that were all beautiful. I ended up going to 4 bridal shops that day, and bought the very last dress I tried on at a different shop because I was told i had to order the dress that day to avoid any late fees. more

My daughter and I went there on 1/17 to look at sweet sixteen dresses. We were the only customers in the place. The lady who helped my daughter tried to be helpful, but did not listen to what my daughter wanted at all. She had her own opinion and was basically putting my daughter into whatever dress she thought my daughter should wear. A good place if you don't know what you want, but definitely not the place to go for us. more

What a great bridal boutique. I went all over Pinellas County looking for my special dress and after being so upset I told my mom ""let's go home"". On the way home we passed Athena's and I decided to take a look even after being so bummed about not finding a dress. We went in I told the woman what kind of dress I was looking for...she reached on to the rack,pulled it off and handed it to me to try on. It was the only one I tried on and the one I bought. During each visit, I was greeted with friendly customer service and diligent attention to my bridal gown needs. After searching many bridal boutiques for the perfect gown, Athenas proved to be the best choice for the gown of my dreams. After placing my order in May, my gown arrived in October in perfect condition with the correct size ordered. My seamstress was attentive to my alteration specifications and made my gown look absolutely stunning for my wedding day. Everyone in the store was amazed at how I looked. Although the alterations were a bit high, they were well worth it. I would highly recommend Athena's Bridal Boutique to future bridal shoppers.
