First of all let me say that Jo Anne is the best! If you MUST go to that store, see Jo Anne! I worked with Jo Anne, everything was going well and I found the wedding dress I want, it was $950, and they told me they would discount it $100 to it will be $850. I went home to think about it, and I found the same dress selling everywhere else for $758. I called Jo Anne and let her know and she asked the owner, and the owner said she will match it. I was excited, I came to the store the next day, and as I?m checking out, the owner asked me ?where did you find it again?? and I gave her the websites, she said ?oh it wasn?t in a store? I can?t honor that price?. She kept arguing with me and she ended up offering me a price of $800 which is only $42 more dollars than the price I found. I was already upset because she said she would honor it and backed out last minute! I left the store without paying to reconsider the dress. (Keep in mind she is arguing with me over $42 when I?m ALSO buying a $150 belt, a $150 veil, and possibly shopping there for bridesmaid dresses)
They call me 30 min after I leave offering me the $758 price I wanted, ?BUT WITH NO SERVICE?? What? What does that mean? ?It means that we will not steam your dress. We will give it to you in the box it comes in? It doesn?t cost $40 dollars to steam a dress, and this place has horrible reviews already! Bottom line is I found the dress at 5 stores near me, and I?m going to get the dress from them for $758, and paying the extra $40 dollars she wanted to charge me so badly to Jo Anne! So this owner just lost a 1500 dollar sale over 40 dollars and a bad attitude! If I?m spending that much? I EXPECT SERVICE!
DO NOT GO TO THIS STORE! THERE ARE SOOOO MANY BRIDAL STORES THAT WILL GIVE YOU ALL THE ATTENTION AND SERVICE YOU NEED, and you won?t have to argue to get what you want!!!
