Athena Salon & Day Spa

When I got home from Athena Salon my hair was cut uneven in the back. I called to have it fixed. The receptionist had no clue how to handle the situation. I called back the next day and was told someone would contact me to come in a few days later. I never received a call so I sent an email to the salon. Nobody responded to my email so I called again and asked for the manager. I was not allowed to speak to the manager but got the asst. manager on the phone. I explained the situation and she was not apologetic at all, just made excuses. At this point I asked for a refund so I could go somewhere else for a haircut but she would not agree to that. Very poor customer service and a frustrating experience. I will not go to this salon again and neither should you. more

Natalie, hair stylist at Athena's Salon and Spa, was very professional and helpful. She helped me pick out a new hairstyle which I have learned to work with and the entire experience there was relaxing and I felt very pampered. more

While I was visiting my family in Arizona my sister and I decided to go to Athena's Salon to treat ourselves. This was the best idea ever. It is inexpensive everyone was super friendly from beginning to end (It really seems like then enjoyed working there) the place was very clean and cozy. All the treatments were amazing but best of all was the massage I received from Donna she is the most spectacular Massage Therapist I have ever had!!! I would recommend her to anyone and everyone. You bet I will be back... more

This salon is layed out really well. The services are all separate from the waiting area. It's very clean and all the employees are extremely nice. Kami does great pedicures and manicures. The nail area is separated and has a relaxing atmosphere. I really enjoyed it. more

I just went to Athena for the first time on 3/17/07. I had my eyebrows waxed by Kimbra who did a great job and listened to what I had to say. I hate having my eyebrows plucked, it's like nails on a chalkboard to me. She barely plucked, just a couple strays. And she actually left me with eyebrows! I will continue going to her. Then I had my hair colored and cut by Liz. SHe was very helpful with suggestions on what color highlights to do and how to cut my hair. I love my hair! I will definitely go back to her when it's time to do my hair again! Plus when you walk in the salon, there's a HUGE selection of products to look at and buy :) Cons: They're remodelling right now, so things are a little spread out, but I'm sure it'll be all worth it when it's done. more

One name Ashley! She has been in the business over 12 years I believe. She is the Artisic Director of the Salon. She is young and has a sence of style second to none. I have extremely difficult hair and she was awesome from the first time she styled my hair. I would only go to her from now on! Pros: Ashley Cons: None more

This day spa is owned by a women who loves to be taken care of, so you go through the door knowing that you will be taken care of. I have had my hair done there, a facial and my nails and each of the staff members there really know what they are doing and take the time and make sure you are happy and relaxed. They offer you beverages while you are waiting and give you that relaxing feeling. You will not leave their dissatisfied at all. It feels like you are walking into a paradise, you hate to leave. They also offer great gift certificates! more

This is a great place to go and treat yourself to something special. This is a full service salon, which means that you can get your hair done, nails done, have a massage, have a facial and much more. The staff there is just amazing, and they also have a little type of store, where you can purchase great products for your face and body. Although this is a day spa, the prices are very reasonable.
