Ashton Animal Hospital is tops! Have had many pets over the years and have seen quite a few veterinarians. Dr. "P" and his staff are simply the best. My dog is treated so well there he actually doesn't mind "Doctor Day." Knowledgeable, Compassionate, Dedicated and Caring is what you get when you walk through the door at Ashton - each and every visit. And priced fairly, too! more

This hospital is very clean. The assistants are very friendly and compassionate. They love our pets just like they were their own. The doctor is very caring and compassionate also. He takes his time to exan each pet and recommends everything that the pet may need, They are very reasonably priced as far as vets go in their area. Most of the time you can get a same day appointment. I recommend anyone to take their beloved pets to this animal hospital more

Since my friend Tammy recommended Dr. P, we have been loyal patients with all 4 of our dogs. As a matter of fact, Dr. P, is the only vet our dogs do not overreact and get aggressive with. I read the other comments regarding cleanliness, etc... but I have never had a bad experience in having my dog(s) stay overnight. But as far as the care from Dr. P, I feel it is genuine and the dogs know it. more

I have a golden retriever that was treated twice within a two month span for an earflush. They insisted on sedating my dog to do the flushing and keeping him over night one of the times. When I picked up my dog, he reeked of urine and was very dirty and came home very unsanitary. I was unable to wash him due to the ears just being treated. I called to complain and the receptionist said she would tell the doctor and he would return my call to talk about the matter. I never heard back from them nor did I receive an apology. I am very disappointed with Dr. Ashton and his staff. I am appalled that I spent $763 to have this kind of treatment on my dog. Our animals are like our children. I will never return to their facility. Be aware if you take your animals there. more

Last time I was at this vet hospital they quoted a price for a procedure and once it was done, it was almost double of what they quoted! Nothing out of the ordinary that would justify a price increase in this case.\r \r Also don't ever take your animals to a vet that doesn't do the blood tests or exams in front of you! Don't let them take the animal in the back room.\r \r They also want to keep animals over night because they over book and didn't have time to do the procedure.\r \r This vet hospital thinks more about the $$$ than they do the animal, which is a shame!\r \r There are better, caring vets out there that don't overcharge like this one does. more

I have been taking my pets to Ashton Animal Hospital for years and have always found the staff to be caring and dedicated. I would never go anywhere else when my dog needs treatment. more

I took my very older cat in to be spayed, was told she was very sick and would need treatments for apx $300 or she would not survive the surgery (was vague on exactly what was wrong with her). I thought this was strange since my sister took her cat in previously and was told the exact same thing. I decided to go to another vet, who found nothing wrong and performed the surgery. she lived another 6 years.
