I took my very older cat in to be spayed, was told she was very sick and would need treatments for apx $300 or she would not survive the surgery (was vague on exactly what was wrong with her). I thought this was strange since my sister took her cat in previously and was told the exact same thing. I decided to go to another vet, who found nothing wrong and performed the surgery. she lived another 6 years. I would suggest always getting a second opinion before using Ashton\r
