Overpriced 9/21/2016

We had plumbing work done in our bathroom by Nate and he was very professional and did a fine job but we were charged $618.00 for not quite 2 1/2 hours of work which was an exorbitant amount for the work done. We would never call Arnold & Sons again due to high fees charged. RESPONSE FROM Arnold & Sons Plumbing Htg: While we are sorry that the customer didn't have the total experience we hope for, we feel that Arnold and Sons delivered on its promise of fast, courteous professional service done right! We are sorry things cost what they do but we would rather provide exceptional quality service, in a timely manner with highly skilled and exhaustively trained technicians than be the lowest priced company. more

Good service, professional, over priced 9/17/2016

We had plumbing work done by Nate on 9/16/16, he was very professional and friendly and he did a great job. Unfortunately we felt that for a service call that took just a little over 2 hours, that a cost of $618.00 was exhorbedent! We would probably not call Arnold & Sons again due to such elevated cost. more

Quick response to plumbing emergency 9/14/2016

Glad I picked Arnold and Sons from BBB website. Helpful and efficient scheduling staff. Email introducing employee Joe prior to appointment was reassuring. Joe was professional and knowledgeable. Pointed out plumbing issue of which I was unaware and sent estimate for correction. more

The estimate was very high and we were able to call another company that fixed the issue for more than half of the cost. Also immediate payment was not necessary and invoiced is instead. more

Excellent Job 8/13/2016

These guys are the ONLY ones to call !!!!! I couldn't use ANY plumbing in the house without it coming back up in basement so first called Roto-Rooter. They are idiots and only made the problem worse after being here 2 times. Then called Trouble-Free and they came but wouldn't be able to do anything for a week and a half because had no equipment available for 7-9 days. So THANKFULLY I found Arnolds & Sons and they came and checked it out and had everything fixed the next day. They did an EXCELLENT job !!!!!!!!!!!! So, if you need any sewer drain cleaning or ANY plumbing work done CALL these guys for sure !!!! more

Not pleased 8/10/2016

Technican was 2 hours past the agreed upon appointment window. Spent 10 minutes looking at power-vent style water heater only and determined that it needed to be replaced. Got a second opinion from another company and they quickly realized that the water heater was fine and just the exhaust air pipe was blocked. So instead of $2,000 unnessary replacement water heater, we paid $100 to a different company to unblock a vent. more

Why start without the needed parts? 7/24/2016

I have used Arnol numerous times. This time was not good. They came out Wednesday and provided a estimate on the planned project and an up sell to replace an additional shut off valve. I prepaid and set a time for Friday to have the work done. They showed up Friday, shut off the water to my house, cut out the pipe then things went south. The plumber decided to debate if the valve was needed with his boss not to mention after two days of having this scheduled he did not even have the needed valve with him. After several unnecessary hours of delay and no water Arnold sent out a delivery guy with the valve to allow the project to finish. There was no excuse to not have the parts in hand after two days and a site visit. This was not a surprise to them and in fact was the reason for the work call. more

I always use Arnold for my plumbing issues. Joe is always aware of the issues going on and is current on his recommendations. He is calm and talks to you in a way you can understand. He doesn't rush through the job or the diagnosis. He is polite and asks questions. more
