It started with miscommunication between the 'office' and the painters. I asked how early the painters would arrive - I was told 8:30 - 9:00 AM on the first day due to coming from across town. The painters arrived at 6:50 AM. The Painters assessed that they would be done the following day. The estimator figured three days so I made arrangements to take third day off. (Doors needed to be left open while the paint dried.) The painters seemed annoyed that they would have to return the third day. I had exterior painting done on the body, pop-outs, and trim. The job itself does give the house a 'refreshed' look and several neighbors have commented on how nice the house looks. But the detail work is lacking. Widow frames not fully masked which allowed over-spray and over-spray on the rock around the foundation. The paint sprayer left rubber marks on our driveway and pavers. (We asked the painters to clean this up.) There was trash left in the yard after each day. (My wife cleaned up after them each day and then discussed the situation with the lead painter.) And lastly, they got paint on my artifical grass (It doesn't grow, therefore I can't 'mow' it off.) and didn't know how to clean it up. Again, with a motto "Expect more, get more!", and the high praise on KTAR my wife and I had higher expectations of a quality job. One last comment: You would think APC would require their subcontractors (I'm assuming these painters were subcontractors because they did not have a company truck) to place magnetic signs on their vehicle with APC's name to advertise who's painting your house.
RESPONSE FROM Arizona Painting Company:
We thank you for your comments on the paint job. We are happy that the end result looks good and that your neighbors are impressed. With that being said I do see that the details were missed and we sincerely apologize for that. I have met with our crew regarding these issues to ensure it will not happen in the future to other customers. I would like to send them back to cleanup the overspray on the windows and synthetic grass, it should come off with some simple soapy water. Please call us directly to let us know when a good time would be. Production Manager/Owner- Joe Miller 480-695-4802
