The technician from Arctic Air arrived as promised and went over our air conditioner that was not working. He indicated the different possibilities that might be wrong and how much each would cost. Then he indicated the price of a new unit with several discounts that were available including one for being a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He did not pressure us as to what we would should do but suggested that since the unit was about 15 years old it probably would be wise to consider buying a new unit. Once we decided to get a new unit, he indicated the one that was the same size as the one we had with about the same features. \r \r Once we had made our decision on the air conditioner, I asked him about the advisability of replacing the furnace since we had to have it repaired last year. He agreed and it was considerably cheaper to it now rather than when it had to be replaced by itself at later date. So the new air conditioner and new furnace were installed, the old units removed and everything was left in excellent condition. The two technicians were very nice and worked well together. \r \r My wife and I are well pleased with Gladstone Arctic Air and will call them first when we need any service. more

Just wanted to say thank you to the technician and Arctic for coming out so quickly last night. Our house was so hot and the kids were miserable! The technician gave us our options and was unbelievably professional and knowledgeable. He made sure that I understood the issue with our unit before he moved forward with fixing it for us. We will be calling Arctic for all of our HVAC needs :) Thank you! more

First, let me start off by saying that I was highly frustrated when I contacted Arctic Air. I had tried to get another local, big name company to come out and fix our furnace that had been out of service for over 24 hours at the point in which I called Arctic Air. This other big name (which I will not mention to remain professional) did not show up for the job - and it is the coldest it has been all winter long. We are relying on electric heaters. Arctic Air was already completely booked but worked me/us into their schedule and were able to fix our furnace within the day.\r The entire staff was completely understanding when I called completely flustered and upset because of my current situation, and went above and beyond in regard to customer service, professionalism,and just having a sense of urgency and caring about the customer! I know that it should go without saying, but that is not the case anymore - I will gladly recommend Arctic Air to anyone and if I ever have an issue with my systems in the summer months, this will be the company where my loyalties lie as well! I could not be happier! more

Arctic Air did such an amazing job for my family! We purchased a new air conditioner and furnace and are beyond pleased with the professionalism we received and the work was flawless! What my husband and I find to be so impressive is from the office staff, technicians and sales team we were treated with the best customer service that we have ever had! Arctic Air has been our service company for years now. We have always had great service from competent service personnel. The prices that we have paid seem to be a bit more reasonable than a few of my neighbors have paid other companies, in fact we have given several of our friends and family Arctic's contact information when they were in need of service or a new air conditioner or furnace. Don't Pay Until Work Is Finished 9/7/2007

Make sure this company finishes it's work before you pay them. I took off of work for a day to have a new heating and air system put in. The guys left early without finishing the job and now want me to take off of work again to let them finish what they were supposed to do the first time around. I am an hourly worker and don't get paid when I don't work. This business would not make an appointment for me after 4 pm or on a Saturday. Of course they have already been paid - so why bother. more
