We've talked often about our decision to have daddy cared for by your people rather the ""Hospice"" groups and we are certain we made the correct decision.\r \r We are especially blessed to have had the team we had- Patsy was an answer to prayer as she guided all of us through ""unknown waters""; at least to us. she gave dad a secure feeling & allowed his last days to be peaceful. We appreciate the care Jesse & Lawrence & then Jimmy gave & we are certainly blessed to have Pam available when her schedule permitted.\r \r You made all the difficult choices easier by taking over when necessary to see that all arrangements were made quickly - hospital beds, oxygen, mouth swabs, diapers, etc.\r \r You made us feel we were doing a good job in our part of dads care & listened & counseled when we were insecure & scared.\r \r I've been recommending you to tohers & the reports back are wonderful.\r \r Thank you for all you do at a very difficult time in the life of a family. I want to thank all of you for everything. We appreciate your kindness. The care mom received from your company was GREAT! \r \r Penny is wonderfully, smart and caring nurse. Julie is a great aide (she was at the hospital EVERY day). Neither one of these girls ever complained and did their jobs throughly. \r \r I miss momma so much. Bad experience 9/18/2008

I thought I was doing the right thing with going with this hospice service. I even turned down St. Francis hospice to use this. BIG MISTAKE! The nurse my father had was VERY unprofessional. Spent more time on her cell phone. Thank God I am married to a medic and I've had some nursing training. The aide on the other hand was wonderful and so was the RN that did the initial assestment. Meds, bed and other supplies were delivered in a timely manner and picked up after his passing. I just have did not like the nurse that came out every week (which wasn't every week). She wasn't ever on time or I would have some place else to be so I would just tell her not to come since she didn't come during the time I told her I would be there. I guess it would be ok to use as long as you don't have the nurse my father did. Pros: Has a strong support system. Cons: Be careful which nurse you have and voice concerns. more

We couldn't have made it without you 7/20/2008

Angelic Hospice was great and was always their when we needed them. \r Your employees seemed very happy to be working at Angelic Hospice. \r They were all great at their jobs. We couldn't have made it without Angelic Hospice. This are comments I hear on a daily basis so I was very concerned to see that someone had a bad experience. Angelic Hospice-DO NOT USE!!!!!! 12/26/2007

Patient and family had been told by hopsice 'call us any time you need meds or anything at all. So on a Sunday morning the patient called the hospice and made her request for suppositories. Nurse replied 'I don't have any you will have to go to the pharmacy yourself'. When medications are delivered they are delivered well after 10pm. If you are expecting a call back from a nurse or doctor you had better be prepared to wait for at least 2 days. Do not look for any type of assiatance around the house, with anything extra. All you are going to get with this hospice is possibly a weekly visit from the nurse (bp, temp, pulse), rarely a visit from a doctor. There is nothing done as far as daily activities or any type of social interactions. \r Please, if you love your family member and friends do not let them use this hospice. Pros: nothing good to say Cons: too many to list more
