Patient and family had been told by hopsice 'call us any time you need meds or anything at all. So on a Sunday morning the patient called the hospice and made her request for suppositories. Nurse replied 'I don't have any you will have to go to the pharmacy yourself'. When medications are delivered they are delivered well after 10pm. If you are expecting a call back from a nurse or doctor you had better be prepared to wait for at least 2 days. Do not look for any type of assiatance around the house, with anything extra. All you are going to get with this hospice is possibly a weekly visit from the nurse (bp, temp, pulse), rarely a visit from a doctor. There is nothing done as far as daily activities or any type of social interactions. \r
Please, if you love your family member and friends do not let them use this hospice.
