Go for the Chocolate Sourdough Twist 5/19/2006

All of the products at Amy's Bread are delightful, but the thing you must try is the sourdough dark chocolate twist. It's not really a dessert, but it's an incredibly rich, filling snack that will appeal to those even without a sweet tooth. It's one of my all time favourite things, and I'll go way out of my way to get it. You must check this place out. more

Amy Scherber is my hero 3/7/2006

Amy Scherber ruined the Atkins diet for me. I just couldn't resist the delicious breads (and cakes) from her shop. The Hell's Kitchen outpost is my favorite because it is the closest to my work. In the morning, a chocolate twist perfectly complements the first cup of joe. For lunch, a toasted sandwich and some soup. For a snack, the ginger cookies. Nothing is cheap, but it is made right in the space next door and you can smell the goodness down the street! more
