American Family Insurance: Gerrianne Billo, AGT

My whole family has been a client of Gerianne's for more than 15 years. Unfortunately, we have all since relocated to another state and had to lose her as our agent. I wish every day that we could keep her as our agent. She has always been there for us when needed. She goes out of her way to help in any way she can. We suffered two disastrous floods to our home in a two year period and she did all and more for us. She would call constantly to see if we were OK and if there was anything she could do for us. She has never pressured us into anything as far as insurance goes. She is always looking for a way to improve coverage and cost. Even living in another state, I would call her with questions, even though she is no longer our agent, and she would always help out. She is the best insurance agent we have ever had. Wish we could have kept her. more

My son and I met with Gerrianne J BIllo a few days ago to discuss some policies. I was so impressed with her I had her check my premiums against what she could offer my wife and i. She was unable to compete with our premiums since we have been with our existing insurance company for so many years. The bottom line was she is HONEST! FAIR! and TRUSTWORTHY!. Anyone that has or indicates they have had a bad encounter with her it must be their own fault. Further more she agreed to meet in the late evening hours with me due to my work schedule. She spent 2 hours with me after we decided that she was unable to match my premiums as she offered advice and suggestions to me on possible ""tweaks"" to my current coverage for possible savings with my current provider. Now you DONT get that kind of service very often! \r \r My son has signed up for a policy with her at this time, and I can assure you in the future if we switch companies she WILL be the person I contact!. My husband and I have had multiple policies through Gerrianne Billo for the past 20 years. Car, home, life and business insurance. I am always looking for the best bang for my buck and this agent is very willing to work with us on that basis. I have cancelled policies without hassle and have been able to start new policies with ease. In my experiences with Gerrianne, I have found her to be very pleasant and pressure free! more

I *cannot* relate to that negative experience at all... it kind of makes me wonder about the state of mind of the writer below and what really transpired in that phone conversation (there's at least two sides to every story, you know). Here's what I CAN say about Gerrianne Billo after YEARS of a relationship with her: Gerianne is a conscientious worker, who devotes mega hours to her business and customers. Need her after work hours? Just call. Need her on the weekend? Just call. AND, she has never once been anything but polite and professional (at the very least, and often times she's quite fun to converse with!) Once, when quoting to me on a new policy I was looking for, Gerrianne advised me to go with someone else as price at that time was a big driving factor. Did she get in a huff? Not at all. I found her response to be caring and thoughtful of ME. And now, several years later, she's still in my stable of trusted advisors. Your loss, Aishwarya. more

Wow, I have never had this type of experience with Gerrianne Billo. I have been a client for over 10 years. I have life ins, car and home owners policies thru her. Never once did I feel pressured. In matter of fact last yr I had to trim my policies because of income and she totally worked with me. In matter of fact when I went to add my son to my policy she stated that I might be better shopping around because boy drivers are not cheap. But I learned at a young age that you need a big name ins co. behind you in case an acciddent is your fault. My son was hit by a person (Oct 2013) covered by a cheap carrier and the company hasn't paid his medical bills and doesn't return his calls. Knock on wood I have not had a car claim but I would bet my life on Gerrianne to make sure everything was taken care of in a respectful way and timely manner. more

We purchased insurance through her for two consecutive years. This year we got a way better deal for a similar coverage we were getting, from a different company. I call this agent to cancel my renter’s insurance policy and she calls me cheap multiple times, directly and indirectly in her 5min conversation with me. She is very immature for her experience and can’t let go of a customer with dignity. This was the first time in 2yrs that I spoke to her and this is the impression I got of her. I am glad I did not have to deal with her more than this one last time. Please keep this part in mind as at some point we all need to move insurance companies for reasons of our own. more
