Al's shop is where I take my scooter for repairs. I like going there because Al has made sure that my bike is taken care of in a timely manner, and that everything's okay. He's accessible for questions and is fair. He has a good team of mechanics. The cost of repairs have also been reasonable, too. I'm very pleased. more

als cycle stop is the place to go.i live in ontario and i go there for all the things i cant fix on my bike myself.there are not to many places where u can walk right into the work area and interact with the mechanics.most shops are real impersonal where u just drop ur bike off and then pick it up.i send all my friends to als cycle stop ,not just for the comraderie but also for the prices.you will be hard pressed to find prices as low with the quality of work this shop puts out.i can only speak for myself when i say that this is the shop to go to for all your cycle needs.so if you ride and want your bike to be takin care of then this is the place you should be. me and all my "PSYCHO RIDERS" go to als cycle stop so ill see you there. more

thanks for making that shop a great place to bring my bike !!.. Over here in Redondo there is only a few places and all are either really expensive or total jerks.. Your guys take really good care of the bikes they work on and have alot of pride in doing a great job. I am a happy customer and will gladly bring my bike there whenever it needs service or parts. Ohh where do I start with these guy's. Out of all the motorcycle shop's in L.A county, these guy's were the quickest, and most reliable mechanics I found. I've taken my last 2 bikes there and always left satisfied. The owner Al comes clean with the prices. Like an oil change, out of 6 shop's I researched, Al gave me a price that was less than half of the price than the other shop's. Talk about honesty!! The 2 mechanics (both Mike's) have been around motorcycles their whole life's and absolutely love their job. I give these guy's 6 stars!! Highly recommended. more

Excellent service at Al's Cycle Shop..!!! I have had work done there since i bought a 1990 gsxr-750 about 6 months ago. This bike had a ton of problems when i bought it. I have had tires,breaks, chain,sprockets and complete tune up done at Al's .. all with excellent results. I noticed the bike was sputtering after i got the tune up done.. Al sent his driver all the way to Redondo Beach(20 miles one way) to pick the bike up so they could make good on the work done.. I should say that this bike is one of those old ones that can have problem after problem .Old gsxr's are known to be tempermental at times and synchronizing the carbs can be difficult. But Al made good. After picking up the bike he had Rojas work his magic,, The carbs were cleaned and the jets flushed . The carbs were a real headache for Rojas.He worked hard all day and fineally after much effort ,he got it totally dialed in to perfection. He examined the throtle ,clutch cable,re-routed the pvc tube and answered all of my questions. Mike also lended a hand as well as the other mechanics ..all in an effort to make a happy customer out of me. I am very happy with the service and will gladly return for more work to be done in the future. It's a great place to stop in and have your bike worked on while you wait too. I saw customer after customer stop in to get work done while they waited. They are specialists in the satisfaction department. Give em a chance and they will not disappoint you. I give em 5 stars. Those guys are PRO's.!! more

I got to give these guys 5 stars!! Not only did they help me with my budget for new tires but they gave my bike a complete overlook to make sure it was safe. I have had several bikes in the past and have been more of a rider than a mechanic but Mike, Al (the owner) and Steven each pitched in to explain exactly what I needed and what to look for as far as problems. The shop was clean and comfortable. Moreover, they were down to earth and diligent as well as professional. I'm stoked that its around the corner from my house. These cats know their shit!!! more

I'm a new HD owner and I took my bike into AL's for an oil change and inspection. I have seen the cycle shop on Glendale Ave since i was a kid and figured it would be a great place to take the HD to since the shop has been there fo so long. When i arrived i was told that the location was under new management and that's when i met Al and his crew. I've never been to a cycle mechanic shop of any kind but to plenty of auto ones. I was greeted with a laid back and very family oriented atmosphere. These guys have a style all of their own and i liked it! Like a typical mechanic shop you had your share of loud music, in this case rock and classic rock, and trash talking between the mechanics. What was very astounding was the fact that these mechanics were fast, detailed, and extremely knowledgeable and honest. My mechanic was Mike and he was very knowledgeable about my HD, I asked him about the maintenance schedule and possible problems to look out for and he was very upfront and gave me direct and clear answers to all my newbie rider questions. I asked him if i could watch him service the HD, he agreed and during the inspection and oil change he gave me a run down on everything that he was doing to the bike and possible problems to look out for and the such, all while doing his job. Mike was great! All in all i think i was in and out of the shop in less than 45 minutes. Al and his crew must have serviced about 6 bikes while i was there, yes there was a line. Just in and out, in and out. With so many people coming to see these guys it's no wonder they are doing so well. With a great attitude and a quick turn around time I am hoping that Al is here to stay. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that Mike, the mechanic, took the HD on a spin and caught a few glitches, if you will, and made the proper adjustments to my clutch lever and other things. Mike said it would help me get into neutral better and man was he right!! Thx Mike!! The HD is feeling solid and smooth and the shifting into neutral is more

Since the recent ownership change over the last year this good shop has become great! Al runs a very organized place and service is fast. An oil change will usually be done while you wait despite them seeming to be completely swamped. If it's something that will take a few hours you can kill some time up the street at Downbeat cafe. They are great mechanics and will go the extra mile on price and service. I know very little about the mechanics of a cycle and feel very confident that they aren't screwing me over. I've been to 2 other shops and non of them compare. more
