I was really dreading getting my carpets cleaned before using this company but they were fantastic and exceeded my expectations in every way. Pros: Great job more

I needed a sofa cleaned as well as my carpets. I looked on City Search and called 3 or 4 places that seemed to have good ratings. To my surprise, at least three of them led back to the same agency. Mundae, City Clean, and Houston Carpet Cleaning and Restoration are all apparently the same company. I made an appointment with them, largely becuase of the reviews and info on the websites for these companies that indicated they were experts in cleaning different types of upholstery and would carefully pick the right method for your fabric. On the plus side, the technicians were on time and were very polite. They did an adequate job on the carpet, but they left it much wetter than other companies have done in the past. They also put down an extra 'deep cleaning' agent without my permission and then said I only had to pay for it if I liked the results. Of course, I have no idea how it would have turned out without the extra spray, and it cost an extra $25 per area. As for the sofa, they really only had two methods--steam cleaning or vaccuming. My fabirc label said not to steam clean, so they vaccummed. I honestly think I could have done just as well on my own. Bottom line, this multi-named company really does not have the expertise or equipment that the websites would lead you to believe. I am disappointed overall and will not call them again. more
