I'm thrilled to have found this salon and Amanda. I have been to countless stylists since moving here from California 4 years ago, the results have ranged from okay to absolutely ...

Worst

Kinda sad...Spent a long time getting an uneven cut. Many new stylists...mine was nervous not confident...I left dissappointed.... didn't do what I wanted :( spent $45.00

Peter Mansoor is the best!! 10/28/2004

I just moved to the area and was in search of a great salon. I read great reviews about Alex Emilio Salon in Royal Oak so decided to give it a try. I met with Peter and I must say that he is the BEST!!!! He listened to what I had to say and gave me the best haircut I have ever had!! I recomend anyone who needs a new hairdresser to call Alex Emilio and ask for Peter, you will not be let down!! Pros: Friendly more

Jeni is outstanding. I discovered her at Beaton Colors in Birmingham and followed her to Alex Emilio. Jeni's the best in the area for color and the whole staff is friendly and professional. It's a great atmosphere in the heart of town. I highly recommend it! Don't forget to get the free paraffin treatment! Pros: Talent, Courtesy, Atmosphere more

Best Salon in Surburban Detroit 4/14/2004

I have been going to Jeni A. at Alex Emilio for 2 yrs, leaving my previous salon (Salon Sydney in Birmingham) of 8 yrs for them. Alex Emilio has a great atmosphere, all of their stylists are very personable and up-to-date on all of the latest styles. I used to spend a fortune at Salon Sydney to walk out with a mediocre cut and color... but now I walk out of Alex Emilio feeling like a new woman! I higly recommend that you try them if you aren't happy with your current salon. Jeni A. is my favorite but all of the stylists there are amazing! Alex Emilio is also convieninetly located right on main street, a few shops south of Caribou Coffee. Drop in a make an appointment! Pros: latest styles, courteous staff, convenient location more

amazing! 3/6/2004

I HIGHLY recommend color with Emilio. He is incredible. I drive from out of state every 6 weeks to have him do my highlights and lowlights. From the second you are in his chair until you are walking out of the salon - you are treated like royalty and his work is perfection. Look no further........!! more
