Overall, not impressed 8/18/2017

After hearing quite a bit of good things, we were excited to call Affordable Plumbing and Heat. All of the communications were great leading up to the appointment and the customer service lady was very nice. However, when the tech arrived, we feel like he quoted our price way too high. When asked/challenged about why the price was what it was, he was gruff and not helpful. He became increasingly agitated to the point of us just not wanting to work with him. Even in parting, he made comments about us not being able to do the job any cheaper. more

Billy was professional, focused, helpful, and fast. Found a pressure regulator near the water shutoff valve in need of replacement. My leaking kitchen sink repair has resulted in several minor improvements around the house. Many thanks. more

After hours person trashed my garage 8/7/2017

I needed after hours help. The plumber showed up and tore down dry wall. He said he found the leak in the shower pan and couldn't help. He left the garage a mess and charged me $350! more

High pressure sales pitch not appreciated 7/25/2017

No problem they were a little late. However, the scare tactics and high pressure sales pitch was not appreciated. Trying to sell us a new furnace, a new air conditioner and a service contract as well was just way too much! Also the initial bill seemed unreasonably high and when we complained a $100 was immediately knocked off. Seems like the company is out to take advantage of senior citizens! However, I am pleased with the work that was done and the clean up. All seemed to be done well and looks nice. more
