the usual 8/17/2005

acme video and dvd rental is your usual, average rental place. the selection is good, but it's not exactly blockbuster, so be prepared for them not having what you want because someone already took it out. but i like this place because it has cool posters and i don't know about you, but i really like to stick it to the man and support the little guys, the underdogs in the business world. more

quaint little video store 8/12/2005

Acme video is a nice store, much different than your large retailers such as Blockbuster. They have a nice selection of classic movies that are hard to find elsewhere at a pretty good price. They run specials such as free rentals after a certain amount, but these often seem inconsistent, and the management is questionable. more

Great indie, foriegn, and special interest videos 8/12/2005

Acme is a great place to find whatever it is you are looking for. There is a great selection of documentaries that is lacking at your average video store. There is a new release section and many videos are categorized by director which is a great way to find stuff to watch. The staff is knowledgeable and generally friendly. more
