While restoring my home, I wanted to maintain the character of my arts and crafts bungalow. I also wanted to improve the energy efficiency of the prairie style windows. I'm a do it your selfer without a whole lot of mechanical ability. I had lots of questions and hesitation going into this huge project. The folks at A-Craft earned my trust and exceeded my expectations when it came to quality and timeliness. I brought my windows to them ...several at a time...over the course of a couple of months. Each one had to be planed down to accommodate the new parts which are now hardly noticeable. They kept careful track of them and completed their skilled craftsman/womanship (probably not a word) in such a way that reflected the pride they have in their reputation. I was able to follow the directions of installing the inserts. I felt that the price I paid was fair. All the windows in my house are now newly reinstalled, stained, varnished, glazed...they didn't do those steps...and air tight-whew! The satisfaction I now have is giving me both tangible and intangible rewards that will extend far into the future.

Cons: Their location is a little hard to find but they give good oral instructions if needed
